I saw her in another interview called "Popcorn With Peter Travers" and the interviewer Peter is by far one of the best celebrity interviewers ever (asks great questions, is sweet and actually knows his stuff about the actor/actress' film history and personal achievements, does his research etc.) and Constance seemed bored and kind of blunt in that interview too, like she thought she was too good to be talking to him or something...

Honestly I feel like Constance is just an introvert when it comes to interviews. She might not be like that with the cast or her friends but some people just don’t know how to open up in front of the camera unless they’re given a script to follow and that seems like Constance.

Guys Constance has always been more of a chill personality. When she talks about her and awkwafina you can tell she loved working with the cast. The other two just are much more extroverted naturally. Let’s not jump to negative conclusions about the cast members, they all did superb in the movie, just let them be rather than telling them to act a specific way. Just them be them during this interview.

I have seen other interviews and they seem to get on just fine. I think Constance was just having an off day.
I once played a romantic role, and my partner and myself did tend to compensate off-stage by essentially not being too close since we were mushing all over each other already onstage.

I am still in love with Gemma, but man I feel really bad for Constance now. I've seen almost all of the Crazy Rich Asians interviews, and Henry and Gemma (more Henry though) seem to leave Constance out in their answers, only because they have a "better chemistry" with each other. They could at least try to look at Constance while engaging in their answers lol

I know constance is probably an introvert or something acting so stoic, but common put some god damn enthusiasm or sign of interest into the game. Like being an actor, cant you at least ACT like ur having fun. Like you can see Henry trying so hard to liven up their group. It just comes off as so rude and unprofessional. And if it was just this interview she was like this then okay, but she isn’t much different in others and if your not gonna contribute to the game/interview just leave. It makes what could have been a fun interview into an awkward one, and frankly makes me really disappointed in her as she is representing us Asians in a hollywood setting, and I want the up and coming asian actors to be professional, likeable, and interactive with the fans that will make them stronger.

I get quiet anxious when I have to speak and I find it extremely difficult to start talking when someone else has not completely finish. And I have to kinda prepare in my head what Im going to say.
