Thank you Sensei, again I feel that I’ve gained some of or a glimpse of the deeper knowledge that came/comes with years of training. Your very great at exposing that for people. You have multiple times, reignited my passion and love for training in this martial art from what you say and do so thank you. 🙏🏼
I'm a Bujinkan practioner, and happen to like your videos, Sensei, but my comment today is gonna be a fun one. The Sensei has DEFFINITELLY watched the original Conan The Barbarian, mainly the Conan's Father conversation with young Conan. That's for sure...
4:50 is really a high risk, high reward technique. I like it, but it´s really hard to pull off at realistic speed, especially, when it´s not discussed when and what strike comes... Some of the other techniques reminded me of the misallignement that you can see in perfection Sanatan Shastarvidya youtube channel.
Fantastic instructor, I have always enjoyed watching his videos. Question... Which practice swords are the beginners using, and where might I purchase one? I would have thought that the Aluminium Iaito, although not sharp, would still be a too heavy for complete beginners, no!? Thanks.
i use iato katana swords for solo traning in the outside because there are not any school in my rural area. in my expirience even if i am a begginer the iato swords was perfect it helped me build muscles. but probably even a bokken is ok as long as it has weight. i have no teacher so my tecnique is what it is.... and i train only on sundays for 2 hours but at least now i have the stamina to run a bit 😂 rember always strech before training👍
For solo training, get a steel iaito for realistic weight so you get used to it right away. Don't use aluminium Iaito, those are garbage for training, the japanese only use it because their country ban steel practice sword For drills or sparring with a partner, get a synthetic or Polypropylene bokken with proper balance because wood could break and pieces when shattered could fly into your eyes
What an inspiring explanation at the end. Great stuff!!!
Very nice to see kids learning the sword. Thanks for what you do!

Extaordinary they all have access to steel swords from the beginning of their training🙏
Seem like aluminum iaitō with no edge.
I wish I lived near you I'd join this dojo in an instant!!!

I´d love to see that Yari (7:50 next to the bell) in a technique feature.
