When I was 18 and starting to make money, I invested my money into designer purses, jackets, jewelry, knits, etc... i gave up on designer heels because my entry level designer shoes ($300) were very nice looking but easy to ruin with walking on something that would catch the heel, or scuff it. I knew that my sanity and comfort was more important than a designer look on my feet. But I do have designer above my feet. Watching this video made me pat myself on the back.
😂😂😂 well, you chose very well indeed! I’m curious to hear what sort of jackets and knits you invested in. Do you mind sharing? But indeed, designer shoes can be very tricky. Thank you for watching!
@@ThePowerCloset I mean like chunky expensive sweaters, expensive leather (lambskin) jackets, cashmere sweaters, silk tops, full cotton, and linen for the summer. I used to work at Jcrew for years and had time to pay special attention to cheap vs nice fabrics. Also I notice that designer jeans wash a lot better than Abercrombie jeans. I bought a lot of Paige denim or Hudson ($200+ a pair) and I notice the difference. Trendy pieces vs classic, I’ll always take classic. I have a lot of nice material.
I really enjoyed this video it was great! I also just watched your handbag video too and I love your personality! New Subbie 😊 I love finding other creators who love luxury as much as I do…your enthusiasm is contagious!
@@bostonandbeyondfrenchbulld7335 yes they are! They can be a little annoying if you wear them for a prolonged period of time in extreme heat but beyond that they are very very very comfortable.
I was taken by surprise by the blue Hermes oran sandals. That would go so nicely with a pair of blue jeans, a white shirt and the brown Gucci bag. To be honest designer footwear hasn’t really worked out for me. My worst purchase is a beige chanel ballet flat. I got them in the same size as the black pair I own but I forgot that it took me years to break the black pair in and still going through the uncomfortable process for the Biege. My best designer footwear has been surprisingly the Hermes santorini sandals in denim and brown. I love a full denim look and it pairs great with both jeans and dresses. I am looking forward to the styling video. An OOTD video would be great too
I know! They are beautiful shoes however I just don’t reach for them as much. Ouuu the Santorini sandals are lovely! I didn’t know they were comfortable. That’s very good to know. Don’t worry I’m working on the styling video. Soon I promise! 😇 I do post OOTD’s though (on shorts) however I will post some more soon! Thank you for watching!

the feet come off of my shoes too - go to another cobbler you do NOT and should not replace the Chanel soles

you should have gotten the Gucci's in pink too! So cute.
They were cute indeed! However I think 3 pairs of the same shoe would’ve been a bit too much for me 😭 Thank you for watching!
