  • The public are waking up to “one of the biggest scandals in British policing history” campaigners have claimed - as police authorities made renewed pledges to root out abusers within their ranks.
    (Subscribe: bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe)
After a week in which the Met boss admitted the problem went beyond “just a few bad apples”, the National Police Chiefs' Council today claimed “significant progress” was being made in response to complaints from over a hundred victims of alleged abuse by serving officers.
One of them spoke exclusively to us, and a warning - her report includes details which some will find distressing.

The fact that these sexual assault cases have not been referred to an Independent and external investigators shows the police have no intention of dealing with this at all. The police will just wait for things to get out of the news, and sweep it all under the carpet. It has to go to external investigators for any women to see justice.

Like most cases of abuse and coercive control many of the perpetrators are in positions of power and like Carrick use their position of respect to undermine their victims.
We have a huge problem with domestic abuse we need to tackle this as well as institutions. They police are supposed to have a duty to respond to any crime including their own .

The problem is that forty percent of the law enforcement community display antisocial personality traits (we used to call these people sociopaths) who enjoy imposing control on others, enjoy bullying and manipulation, are deceitful and sadistic. You can't do anything about a toxic organisation when so, so many of its members have been attracted to that organisation for entirely the wrong reasons and will remain for the wrong reasons.

Many many years ago I dated a lady who had just split up with her husband who was a serving police officer. She told me in detail about just how much abuse she had put up with. When I suggested she inform the police she adamantly said no way. I said you must report this matter because it could be happening again to someone else. She simply refused. I was going to report it anyway when she said if I did our relationship will be over. I believe many reports of abuse are not reported for many reasons!

Men who are left needy from babyhood cannot stand beside a woman who is giving her attention to another needy baby. This brings a giant needy baby to manifest in the body of a man. The more respectable, the easier it is to hide the manbaby.
Same goes for the making of the needy baby in the woman..but they have other vulnerability to press down and squash if too needy.
The kind mother, the great dad, the good cop, the perfect teacher, the hideous priest...
Our denial is as big as the truth is hideous.
We need healing cetres everywhere.. ( not destruction of the NHS)
We need real arresting of hurt. Strong and with integrity. Real voice from persons at the bottom to the top.
    No top down abstractions.
Whistleblowers must be cared for. Mothers and fathers must be allowed to speak their truths..from their childhoods...BEFORE they are parents.
    Men need to come forward.
They know what their mates are doing to women.
Women must come forward about what happens when they are not mothers out of choice or informed. ..and so on.
    Humans are very hurt.
Some wear uniforms to cover this up. Too stresse and unable to love themselves.
Men are hurt by mothers who don't love them.

They should be damned & ashamed they are also guilty of allowing other women to be subjected to this filth of a man. Ten years ago wasn't 1970's. We have had historic abuse victims coming forward since Jimmy Savile's vile end, and as police officers they have a higher duty & knew the law better than any of us.
