Too much white is not good for mental health, it creates pain in the head, u should add some other colours to break the continuity.
But for me white helps me to calm down. I think it's different for everyone.

It's monotonous, doesn't have homely vibes , no artworks, cold and formal. The designer has done fairly good work considering the demands of the residents..however it must have been a catch 22 situation for her..
