- In early April, a team from Dolce Media flew from Toronto to Bocelli’s home in Tuscany, Italy, to be with the maestro as he reflected on some of his favourite childhood memories, his pre-singing career as a lawyer and his musical influences, which range from operatic greats such as Puccini and Verdi, to international pop icons such as Frank Sinatra, Paul Anka, Tony Bennett and Céline Dion. As our team prepared for the photo shoot and interview, Bocelli’s voice, accompanied by his piano, flowed through the room, a celestial aura, light-filled and energy-fuelled. The sensation, smoother than molten chocolate under-lit by a sparkler flame, was both sensual and spiritual.

Hi andrea the best singer for me .i am 64yrs now. In 2017 i was very ill in icu hospital in trinidad for one wk i was almost in a coma i had dengue fever doctors told my family all my organs had shot down and i may die .but i got better had an out of body experience also . I was taken to a diffrent ward. Itwas ward33 .so every morning at about5am nurses would come to clean me up and they would use there phone and play this most beautiful heavenly music and i would go in a state of bliss i would just start to cry . This music i never heard before it is the preyer by andrea and celine .after going home i would find out everything about andrea always listen his songs .in life only when someone dies we comment.i say andrea thanks to you you are a gift to us from the devine .we love you you bring joy to our heart. I also play guitar and sings praises to the devine sings hyms and also bhajans .

Ever since I heard Andrea Bocelli’s 1997 version of Time to Say Goodbye with Sarah Brightman, I have followed his videos. It’s not merely the beautiful singing but the soulful interpretation of songs that really touches your heart.
I got the choir to sing “Prayer” at my son’s wedding which was loved by all present.

He values the life he has had, and in other interviews he praises his mother who was advised to abort him because of some abnormality in her pregnancy and chose instead to give him life. There are too many individuals in our society who do not value life; hence, the fanatical abortion rights leaders devalue the previous gift of life. A society that believes you can just discard life, is a cruel society. Andrea's mother chose life for him and what wonderful joy he has brought to millions. Thank you Mrs Bocelli for the precious gift you gave the world.
