The way it works this year is that if the defender gets a hand in the offensive players face b4 the ball gets released, then it counts as a red contest

it seems 2k make it harder for us to score in the paint . like every touch of your defender will be hard contested even smothered . the most efficient things to do is do pump fake . in 2k19 you can drive to the paint and do pump fake . but now you had to stand still to do pump fake . when you drive the ball and release you cant cancel it .

Dog I play on Hall of fame it's not that hard if you have IQ. If Cash switched the lineup and had AD guard Giannis and put howard in over Kuzma for center he'd have a way easier time. Add some plays that open up the paint a lot and get at least gold intimidator he straight. He just get in the game run pick and roll 100% and call for the ball too much then complain. if its not working change something.
