One of my favourite things about this is how Karl clearly looks up to Simon and Nick. It’s like he’s hanging out with the cool kids. I really like how Karl’s different around them
@@BNK2442 Yeah, I like Pegg's movies. Never listened to him on the radio before. It's a totally different kind of humour. Very try-hard, where as Karl is just natural.
@@2rslvl126 It's the difference between someone who's trying to be funny and someone who _is_ funny. Pegg makes his money from being humorous, and so he feels the need to add it into everything he does. Karl on the other hand _just is_ funny, and so he doesn't feel the need to make a joke every 10 seconds to validate himself. He can just riff and come out with stuff, which is something Ricky is very good at as well. Simon and Nick on the other hand aren't as spontaneous.
I think he feels there is a more equal level of respect. Karl is smarter than everyone thinks Ricky made him a multi millionaire and he knew that from the start
These few shows from 20 years ago that they probably hardly remember doing are so brilliant, listened to them countless times. They're like a comfy old pair of slippers. To this day whenever I see a bottle of HP Fruity I always hear nick in my head "I used to feed me smack addiction by fruities"
This is honestly top tier, better than most of the RSK podcasts and almost better than the RSK radio show. I think I’ve listened to this like 20 times by this point
I whole heartedly disagree. I found this painful. There's barely any Karl in it, and that's the only reason I'm here. Had to stop after the first hour. If Karl talks more later on, be nice to know. Wouldn't of even gotten a Bronze at the Sony's.
@@2rslvl126 maybe in 5/10 second bursts, I can't really remember but nothing like the usual radio or podcasts were. Karl took a back seat for this one, because Simon and nick actually came up with content and didn't just rely on Karl like Ricky and Steve. Having said that I loose interest about an hour and a bit in when they start talking with guests.

And that is so fucking weird, I prefer to listen to Karl over pegg any day of the week.

You are a saviour! thanks for uploading these. i was gutted when they got taken down
This is a gem for newyears day morning 2025. Most of it is new to me.
This is the best Ricky and Steve impression I've ever heard

@@lf9108 Fair. Is there anymore Karl in it past the first hour?

Did you know that Karl prefers the podcasts to the radio show? According to him, they were far more enjoyable to make.
this is the greatest thing that has happened ever . (full stop)
Just relistening to these...must have been 10 years since I last heard... inclined to agree with you Jeff!
Why have i never heard this one?
Almost all my favourite british people. Peter Serafinowicz is missing though :)
karls ringtone LOL 1:37:39
Hehehhehe
I’ve never heard this and I’ve heard every Karl gobbledygook 100s of times
Michael Smiley was so wrong about Gwen Stefani, she's now 54 and somehow looks younger than she did in 2002
16:45 cham and heese😂
The stuff around 48:00 is hilarious
After listiening to Ricky/Steve/Karl for quite awhile... this is shit.
Karl is the worst producer in the world, just listen to that sound quality. Is weird how Karl can be a genious at everything else, except his work.
Heads fucked mate
Nick frost is such an annoying person. He's not funny
Oh, he’s done you.
Play a record.
Rick woller is that you?
Wait till you hear Ricky Gervais😂
