A-Z I thought I'd never see it again, I'm playing hots again but only together with my little brother (he works in a different country so hots is a great way to do something together )
If I had to guess the extended wait time is probably also related to many players refusing to play Blizz games after the recent allegations and lawsuits. At least that's one of the major reasons as to why I've moved off.
I went from playing HOTS every day to not logging on since the news broke and cancelling my WoW subscription. First the Hong Kong debacle and then the toxic work environment news. I'm done with them.
Yup. I can afford not to play because I don't make contents like these, but people who stream and make a living off of HotS, Diablo, WoW, etc I will continue to support. It's unfortunate that the A-Z playthrough came at a bad time but I will support Pally nonetheless.
I do adore the level 20 auto attack talent for Ana, becoming a rapid fire siege unit is just hilarious. With the level 1 passive talent, and I think there is another that lowers enemy spell power based on how many passive stacks. Combined can just sort of plant myself down and machine gun enemies from afar doing some damage, lowering their ability to do damage, and generally just having a blast. Also just funny to have her machine gun a Nexus.
I don't play heroes lately but i used to love both Medivh and Ana for the same reason : rather hard to master, high apm, such dynamic support/healing. And you did so great in this game!
Didn't see it utilized much, but that grenade of hers can hard counter Gul Daniel when he gets low on health or tries to drain life. It's a free kill every time if the DPS can capitalize on it.
Ana was my favorite healer for a long time until I eventually switched for the diversity and fun of Alexstraza. Ana just feels like a firehose of healing compared to lots of other healers. If you're landing shots and get the consecutive shot bonus healing talent, with the piercing? Forget about it! Huge heals all day.
Dear Pallytime, I was watching your vids back in 2014 when HOTS was still beta(...?) and I'm super excited to have found you again, as I totally forgot your monicker and could only remember the good ol days of 'Mountain!' and so on. So glad to have found you again. You voice is deeper now. Thanks for being awesome. :D

Nothing more annoying when someone is super low after the fight and you are under your own tower and they won't stand still for dart. xD Still enjoy playing her from time to time but I'm on the same page as you. Having to land the skill shot all game gets stressful.

That's like when I queued up against him two games in a row. The first game I bullied his ETC with Stitches so that didn't get to youtube, next game he switched to Stitches and we lost and I got to watch the game from his perspective. Was quite interesting lol.

So following the plan of playing the Heroes of the AZ after Pally releases their respective videos, I can say that Nade Ana is as nasty as ever. Pulled off 126k healing and no deaths in my game, beating out the enemy Whitemane's 114k healing.
Hey Pally, new fan of yours and love the series. It might be a cool idea to mention some of the lore around the characters as you play them. Ana specifically has a bit of a shaky past and an interaction with Widowmaker from Overwatch that is the reason she wears an eyepatch now. I'm new to HotS and haven't played some of the Blizzard games that the game draws it's cast from so it would be awesome to hear your version of their lore as you stomp around the map. Looking forward to the next one :)
An unwritten rule of quick match that I've experienced is that if the enemy team has ALL of their buildings by the time they hit level 16, you've already lost the game.
Attack speed talent has so high winrate, because people usually take it when they are winning, so they can push faster. If Im loosing or struggling in fights, Id take Horus update or that Shrike armor. U should also mention, that the way to play against Ana is to push her away from her healing spot. She will have hard time coming back to the fight
The only thing that bothers me about the lvl 1 trait talent is that most annas will be tempted to stack their quest off of the sleeping darted targets and immediately awakens them, causing friendly heroes unable to connect their abilities.
I never thought I'd see another A-Z! On a side note, do you ever play rust pally? I feel like you have the personality to make some really entertaining rust content.
sadly vampiric rounds are not worth it in most cases. You have to get a lot of stacks before you get any benefit. Each stack is 0.25% of trait healing which is 60% of shrike damage. basically you need around 100 stacks to get a +1 heal per shrike proc. If you are not being aggressive at getting those stacks, you basically have no lvl 1 talent.
Ana is a fun healer though. The range is very nice. It being 100% skillshots makes it less reliable though and you lack sustained healing until you get that reload skill (and even then it's not that long of a sustain). In the right comp with some communication (STAND THE F* STILL WHEN I HEAL YOU AAAAAAAAH) it's one of the more fun and engaging healers to me.
I actually got a win with Ana following your build. I'm still completely useless as a healer with her but her damage and lane presence is pretty good. Skillshot healers never feel good in my hands so I'm gonna take this win and run.
I hated that they changed her. I loved her W build back in the day where, if you completed her quest, frendly heroes affected by W, would get extra healing from there own abilities.
2:03 This moment keeps happening in your games. Low faith from your teammates from simple repositioning and preparing for the worst scenario. Look at how scared Johanna is from staying there, not to mention everyone else. 5:12 was that a good move from Jaina? She wasted a chance at a kill or two. 6:53 meanwhile, Genji on the backline for a mere second just for show. 11:17 That's probably what Johanna feared from the first few minutes of the game, being left alone by *you* , the healer. 11:40 I understand that Alarak has sadism at stake, but god damn, at least try something. He's scared of his shadow. 11:58 AFK Johanna. You have had all the bad lucks that spell a loss. 12:12 No faith from Jaina either. You hate to see it.
not sure when you recorded this but match making has been horrible the past few days. I think it's a combination of people boycotting Blizzard and playing Pokémon Unite
Pally being rusty with Ana and then having an Alarak on his team was way funnier than it should be to me

Ana is definitely one of the heroes where you can just have a bad day and see your performance plummet.

Offlane Ana is my absolute favorite build. I loved watching you pick people apart with dots. Need to bring back the Ana L twitch emotes.

Press S before Q. It helps with aiming quickly.

No one is talking about how strong the grenade talents were after the rework. They nerfed them eventually of course.
