Tbh I'd be even more angry and hurt if he mentioned the Paris thing. "If you thought any of this was ok...if you could rig explosions to threaten innocents in their homes or cart anyone off for experimentation just for the sake of appeasing a childhood friend or some romantic guesture with a hell of a lot of bagage then...we clearly don't know each other as well as we thought. I'm not so sure I can be married to you like this."

The amount of orphans I have met in my life that have mentioned they prefered the streets rather than the people that "took care of them" is painfully high 😢 it's easy to blame the broken for being broken rather than the ones that brake. I cannot wait to see the character development ❤
