Speaking from experience. That shit hurts like all hell and you only stay numbed out for about 2 hours tops. Also, because it's gristle down there, once unnumbed you can feel exactly where that needle was.
My mom had to have her toenail taken off & also had severe neuropathy & said she could feel the needle sticks afterward!! She wasn't one to complain but she said the holes they made were really hurting her!!
Did your nail grew back normal? It happened to my index finger. It looked exactly like the toe in the video to the point where my nail almost popped of. Sadly I went to 3 doctors and all of them said it was unnecessary to remove. But doctors no.4 immediately removed my nail and told me I would have lost my finger by not having it removed. It happened in november. My nail grew back, but only the left side. The right side is weirdly chipped. Like not a real nail but weird layers on top of each other's. And I feel like the nailbed was so ripped that even if it grew back it wouldn't attack to the other side.
Yep. The same thing for me I have an extremely high pain tolerance I’m 11. I had the permanent surgery done recently it’s worth the pain, the needle is 100% the worst part 😊
Nope imma pay extra for yall to put me asleep! I've had too many bad experiences with numbing in all kinds of parts on my body so I just wanna snooze through that 😂
Reminds me of the time I had surgery and got bone replaced by metal and wanted to stay awake so I got anesthesia from waist down but once they started working and I heard the saw and stuff I told them to knock me out lmao I chickened out
@@lokidoki471 Well I don’t think your statement is right, since they are putting numbing injections and a tourniquet to prevent the procedure from hurting.
actually we dont need to do that i had4toe black after i waited 5month my nail grow inside but my blacktoe nail didnt grow then after waited i cut my nail and its totally fine no problem
I've had multiple ingrown toenails before I finally got them permed, and the numbing is the worst, not even the procedure. Even after the numbing worse off it was where the needle went in, hurt the worst. It was so bad I couldn't sleep for a whole night or even walk on that foot from how bad the pain was, from just 3 syringe pokes. So glad my toes are permed and never have to worry abt that 😭
I had this same thing done and I tell you, IT FUCKING HURTS. Most doctors don’t do it this way but older doctors do because it’s easier and faster but it literally sucks. Do not let s doctor do this to you.
I love to watch these procedures being done, somehow I find that it's relieving my stress and keeps me focused. Since I was shot, my PTSD IS JUST OVERBOARD and it's been very difficult for me to actually stay focused, I am short tempered now and I was NEVER like this. I use to be so happy, loving, funny and outgoing. I miss her, but I'm working on it!
My dad held me down and heated up a pin with his lighter, I was screaming until he growled to stay still.. as I stood frozen in fear he pierced my nail and blood shot across the room.. It was instant pain relief if not ecstasy as my thumb was about to explode like a sausage in a microwave
@@Chiller-pc1dvnot really dangerous and cruel at all lmao. You gently poke a hole in the nail and the blood that has pooled underneath it comes out and relieves pressure
I’m glad to see most people agree that getting a toe injected with numbing agent hurts, I’ve had to do this multiple times for Ingrown nails, and I thought I was just being a wimp, when I say that needle feels like they are taking a nail and sticking it in your toe and out the other side.
That's because, they are assholes and just squeeze the syringe as fast as they can. Claiming it's because, if they don't it will burn and sting the whole time if they do it slow. It's total BS. I have had injections done in some of the most painful places. I learned from one caring doctor that if they go slow it will numb as it goes in and it quickly numbs the area before the medicine reaches the other areas.
They have to in order to get the numbing stuff around all the nerves in your toe. Had this done in both my big toes to remove severely infected ingrown nails, and holy hell did it fkin hurt.
I remember I had to get an ingrown toenail removed and I tend to need more anesthesia than most people but the spray didn’t really work for me but the medicine wore off so when she was cutting my toe I started being able to feel it also at the end she made sure to show me my toenail that I didn’t want to see so I ended up throwing up
I remember splitting the bottom of my foot open & the doctor wiggled the needle right n left all around into my flesh wound. Shit was fucken excruciating!😂
I went to the emergency room one time due to a big toe injury. They had enough my foot because I had a fishinghook on my big toe on my right foot or left foot, but I’m not sure though and it was painful. What was your most painful experience?
Had this done w my mouth once (got an expander, it's out now) Hurt like fuvcking hell, and the needle went through my lip at some point. Im so glad they have numbing gels now. Edit: my gum is actually dendted from one of the shots a realized 🥰
I had this done & he injected it into my toe nail on the infected side I screamed the nurses had to hold me down they extracted one hell of a nail Belice me when I say I couldn’t sleep that night nor for a few other I felt every inch of pain & nothing would take it away ! I won’t wish this pain on my worst enemy 😭😭😭😭
I had this done last year on Valentine's Day! The night before I got up half asleep stumbling to the bathroom and I hit my foot on my plant heater. It hurt but I didn't know how bad it was until I turned the light on and the nail on my big toe was completely ripped off except for under the cuticle. I thought that I could just stop the bleeding, clean it and put a bandage on it because I knew that if I went to the doctor needles would be involved. The next morning it was swollen, painful and ugly so I had to go to UC. They had to soak it to remove the dried blood and by that time everything that touch my toe was super painful, even air. The worst pain was from the numbing injections and they couldn't completely numb it so when they ripped off the rest of it....JESUS CHRIST!!!!! It was sore and sensitive for about two months and it started growing back six months later. They told me that I may not ever have another toenail but it has fully grown back and it looks like nothing ever happened.
I had to have the numbing shot in my big toes(4 or 5 times it didnt work right away) to remove my severely infected ingrown toenails.. worth it as i dont get them anymore, but ill always remember that pain. lol you can feel the needle moving and its like shooting ice into you
I know the whole procedure all to well, I had this done multiple times because I had trouble with ingrowns in the past, I literally had a death grip on the bed while the doctor was doing it 😂😂
Y'all dont know the feeling when the needle is injected in ur toe, it hurts like HELL, U CAN EVEN FEEL THE NEEDLE MOVING INSIDE UR TOE. Had a really painful and wierd feeling in my toewhen the needle was injected and was moving around
I never had my feet numbed before two weeks ago (i had both of my big toes ingrown nails removed....yeah the worst part of that procedure was the numbing part ....you come alive real quick when you feel those sticks ughhhh that cold spray can only.do so much unfortunately❤
The injection was hands down the worst pain I've ever felt. I had to ask the doctor to stop halfway through because I just couldn't take it for that long. I'm pretty indifferent to pain most of the time, but I would never go through that again. I would fight just to be knocked out first.
I didn’t get any cold spray and it was only to remove some of the nail this was in a and e cause I couldn’t stick the pain and it wouldn’t stop bleeding so I’m still on the waiting list knowing that I have to get that injection again is so painful
I had ingrown toenail surgery done on both feet and the pain wasn’t that bad afterwards, even from the shot :? I drove home an hour and a half and just popped a couple high dose tylenol and went to bed. Was back at work on my feet constantly after one day off to get used to the cleaning procedures. Maybe it’s just cuz I’m used to getting injections every month for medical issues, but idk what everyone here is talking about. I also usually need a ton of numbing compared to other people, so I had to get that needle all over like a quarter of both feet. Still wasn’t as bad as where the matrices had been treated with acid, and I didn’t even feel that after a couple of days. Full disclosure though, I watched my whole procedure up close and was fine but for some reason when I was watching my big toes get injected with the anaesthetic and swell like 30% I almost threw up. It wasn’t the pain, just seeing my toes become that size so rapidly made me nauseous. I didn’t feel the injections themselves.
When being injected with a numbing agent into the big toe it feels like ten wasps are stinging you in that one toe ...a burning sensation like fire ants are biting you
I had this procedure done to my finger the other day. I was growing fungus. The doctor stuck fhe needle in me and filled it up and then cut my finger open with a tool that lolks like a splicer. The needle pain was the worse part. So much pressure!
Dang. Whomever is yielding that needle needs to have the same thing done to them. I have had several blocks but that one takes the cake!
Lol Right!!
Is that a block or just a local or general?? .....
Owww, that looks so painful and now someone is sticking in that needle. Makes me feel sick just watching.
