I had no idea who Noonoouri was, but was in total awe the moment I saw this set. Such great quality. The display case is amazing. An absolute phenomenal set all around. I highly recommend if you are a collector. I definitnely will not be unboxing. So much better than I ever imagined!!!
Love your review! I especially like how you really pointed out the poses of the two dolls and how it means Barbie is stepping into Noonoori’s world! With the box telling some of the story, I wouldn’t unbox them either.
Congratulations - my dear fellow libra - it is a very beautiful set of dolls, and massive, too. Concept wise these are not the "usual" type of collector dolls why I understand people's reluctance. They like parts of it but not all why they find it too expansive. Is it really? I guess not because these are all new moulds and lots of budget went into the stunning presentation. Mattel is trying new ways and I can only support the approach - besides Barbie is the mother of fashion dolls as we know them today so basically everybody who came after Barbie copied Barbie. Happy playing.
