    What would happen if make changeset without adding component OR profile?

    • @salesforcetechbook
      @salesforcetechbook  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When we don’t have components to deploy then there is no need of creating Change set.
      When we deploy components (fields ,classes etc) and profile together then it deploys along with permissions as well on those components

    Hi !! I have a Doubt , I have two org ,
    1= prod , 2nd = Sandbox
    If i want to deploy anything from sandbox to prod , then the destination here is prod !! so i have to go to deployment settings in the prod and make a connection , right?
    Also can i deploy things from prod to sandbox ? or simply refresh the sandbox so everything(metadata) in prod gets into new sandbox?

    • @salesforcetechbook
      @salesforcetechbook  ปีที่แล้ว

      1- yes
      2- both are possible but refresh is best option until unless there is a specific reaso on

      @@salesforcetechbook ok !! there are two orgs , both being sandbox !! Lets assume their name as SB1 and SB2 !! I have reached to SB1 deployment settings and connected SB2 , Now I can send customization from SB2 to SB1 , is it possible to deploy from SB1 to SB2 or we need to go to SB2's Deployment settings and check that checkbox?

    Hi Sir ,
    Very helpful videos 👌👌
    I have a doubt..in Deployment slide ...how will it display the sender details (UAT) at destination system (destination settings) initially because they are different orgs .Please explain

    • @salesforcetechbook
      @salesforcetechbook  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Shree,
      We can deploy components using changesets between connected orgs.
      Here UAT is a sandbox generated or created from production

    What is the need of sandbox to sandbox deployment plz ??

    • @salesforcetechbook
      @salesforcetechbook  4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Hi Mahesh,
      In real time people uses Different sandboxes for different purposes like development ,QA(Testing),UAT so once development is completed in one sandbox then
      Respective components should be moved to QA sandbox then move to UAT sandbox then move to Production
