I designed my wardrobe doors as the one she has by the front door after she did the remodeling. I will be moving an about a year and I'm already thinking how to design the floor plan and what kind of furniture I will have to resamble hers.
This scene is probably still one of my top five deleted scenes. for the entire series. It's chock full of so much hilarity in just a few minutes for a series that doesn't see much humor, especially humor that isn't dark. Wonderful. Wish it had stayed in, even knowing (now) that Carla was a plant, it's still relevant and funny.
Thanks for posting this! This is one of my most favorite series EVER, and I loved the Luc Besson movie as well. I watched the first episode when the series first started airing, and could not fathom why Roy Dupuis was cast as Michael...until the restaurant scene for Nikita's first mission. There was just something about the way Roy played that scene--I was wondering why the directors thought Nikita would be attracted to Michael, but...he just *looked* at her and all of a sudden, I got it. Not being Canadian nor aware of Dupuis' acting career, it's not too much to say I was literally blown away by his portrayal of Michael. Even all these years later, that magic he has with the camera is there. Not to set aside Peta Wilson's acting, she was excellent in that role. But those two had a chemistry on set that was amazing to watch. The production values didn't hurt either. Or the music. It's too bad how the series ended; I was among the disappointed fans when it was cancelled and loose ends tied up untidily (imho). Still, I've managed to acquire it on dvd, and really looking forward to watching it again. And in the acronym of the Prodigy forum I visited for all things Michael: MCDAHW (Michael can do anything he wants!).
Great scene. Though I agree that it's a little corny. Like the one from the first ep. I'm glad they chose against it. It makes Michael's feelings too clear, and it was always best when his motivations were ambiguous to the audience as well as Nikita.
Waaa, this scene is great ... unleast the last conversations. hang off the cellphone : ..Josephine.(with french accent included) And Nikita throw the water. jajaja. Love that one. jeje.
I have been a fan of this show forever. It has shaped how I make sense of the world and how I deal with it. Why have I not seen this scene? Oh it was removed? WHY.... where do I find the other possibly beneficial things that were removed?
Kirakose2012 or your username was something like that u said micheal was an asshole is so the most cutest people I've ever seen and o my god his french accent Joséphine
The scene was all shot too slow it's too long that's why they cut it from the show. It's a long scene not matching the faster scenes in the show. The slowness even takes away from the photography. She should just turn and throw the hat and leave. Then keep it moving. Forward forward. They acted and filmed the entire scene too slow and that's why it was cut. All of it would be better faster it seems like photography wise, but who knows if it was written to be shot that way or they shot it that way. But she's on that set so it's set up for the scene. All she has to do is toss the hat and get out of the room. It's a fast phone call scene. The bed room scene and then? It's as if the call interrupts them suspiciously if it's shot faster maybe. We couldn't figure it out why it was slow and how they could have done it different. It could be faster shots. And it seems like they're too into sitting home doing nothing. We have done lots of that and it's not GREAT like how they are acting in the show.
Yes....that's how he always engages with her when he's calling her in to work so it was his way of telling her that it was time to go to work in the shortest way possible. From an artistic standpoint it was also so that the viewers could see him say it because oftentimes we usually just hear him say it.
@@kristinaant9747 I agree with you. That other Nikita tv show was a waste of time making it. All characters were boring. Peta and Roy were the most sensual couple on tv at the time when the show came out in the late 90's. And by the way I have all 5 seasons of it and both tv soundtracks cd albums (from 976-CREOLEMAN).
@rickm6807 - Huh? 🤨🙄You either clearly haven't seen the 1st 3 seasons of the original or you're a millennial or Gen Z'er who doesn't have the attention span that would allow you to recognize actual plots and believable acting because if you did then you'd quickly see that CW's loosely based "Nikita" was trash.....embarrassingly so.
Michael is so cute and I love his French accent it's so cute I love how he says Josephine
Shusifin.
Thats my name
I can totally understand why they cut this.. it's way too cute. I'm glad they filmed it, though. lol
I've ALWAYS liked Nikita's apartment, especially that terrace.

HIlarious when he says Josephine and she spills the water :)
One of the most beautiful women in the history of the world, and one of the sexiest, and not a bad actress at all!

Nikita is better than this series. CW hit out out of the park.
I love them both equally
No. CW show is terrible lol
