Thank you for this channel and the access to all these great works by Ken Loach and thank you for this wonderful documentary. Ken has always been and remains on of my favourite directors. Utterly brilliant.
This is a magnificent window into the work of a wonderful human being. Every one of the films that Ken Loach has worked on are lessons in so many mediums. He documents time superbly in each piece and in so many ways. By allowing the cast and crew to adlib around scenes to a certain extent, he summons a reality from his performers that I find truly awe inspiring. Long may he continue...
Cheers Ken! I remember being moved to tears and later anger after seeing Kes as a 10 year old and only last month, I was swinging between tears and laughter watching Looking For Eric! A great artist you are sir, many many thanks!
Terrific. Absolute favourite and will view again and again. Herein is the essential master-class of how to be yourself and follow your own nose as a creator, as an artist. Lest for one extra condition, and it permeates what is said and what is seen here, that you should pursue the truth with all your being, always.Thanks.
Does anyone know if one can find a film Ken Loach directed in the seventies about the crisis of a midle class english family titled something like "family in trouble"

What a great inspiration
I agree with you Ken A Film By, however we have met on several times. But as you know I truly do make films by myself without a crew.

Ken talks about doing commercials and I remember, in the 1970’s, the commercials were more entertaining than the programs.

I think you refer to Family life, an amazing but quite depressing film from 1971. You can find it on Amazon UK for about 6 quid I believe
