Me and my husband were at this game . I was pregnant with our first child. Even though I’m from Michigan I wasn’t prepared for the snow . What a great memory. Good game too !
@@BAYAREA-kd1ig Thanks 😊 my beloved husband of 42 years died last month and I am forever thankful to God for choosing me to be his wife . Many beautiful memories and 10 grandchildren to carry on the faith ( and the love of sports 😎🙏🌹☮️)
In the early 1980s, Texas was one of the few power conferene teams, if not the only one, playing the 4-3 defense. Most were still playing the Oklahoma 5-2 (3-4), and some were playing 8-man fronts (Kentucky and Maryland played the wide-tackle six).
Thank You for posting this!! Those UNC Helmets were sharp back then!!
Coach Dick Crum deserves credit for UNC 🏈 also but they just talk about Coach Mac Brown and he was undefeated in all his Bowl game's.

IIRC USC also played the 4-3 at the time
Earl Winfield would become a star wide receiver with the CFL's Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
