  • In this video, we will create a seamless Turing Pattern, also known as Reaction Diffusion Pattern, in Photoshop. A basic pattern is created at first, and then I show how you can add additional filters to transform it into unique variations.

You did a very good tutorial, you taught how to make it a seamless pattern and how to transform to other textures, it's just awesome !

Ohh!!! me encantó el modo de usar los smart effects y darle otro ritmo al pattern. Yo lo hacía diferente, pero me gustó mucho tu técnica. Y aunque no esté en español te dejas entender muy bien.
    Gracias por compartir.

Weirdly, when i apply the mosaic affect with your settings, it comes out more pixelated. Did you reduce the effects opacity by any chance?

When I add ripple effect the pattern isn't seamless anymore. What could be the problem? :)

    "How to steal a tutorial"

Thanks for your view. But honestly how can you steal if that is the "only" way to create an effect. Then it's like better to not make the tutorial in the first place. Kind regards

@@Encreate Firstly, it is not the only way to create the effect. Which you would know if you did some research into how the effects works. Nobu and Chris used different techniques in their videos. But seems like you just watched Chris'.
Secondly, yes you are right. It is better if you didn't make a tutorial that is a direct copy of someone else's tutorial.
If you had taken the time to create a unique tutorial, you would not want people copying it on their channels.

@@animatoroneill5948 Well, no, I did watch Nobu's months back when he launched it, and honestly, I feel Chris' one is heavily similar to Nobu's. Even the Illustrator part of it, right? I even went to the source materials Nobu pointed. And I guess you know the clouds > highpass > threshold > blur is the main structure of the pattern.
I even analyzed Nobu's technique and it doesn't repeat seamlessly, and Chris never explained why he did a 1024x1024 canvas. I even started scripting my tutorial well before Chris', but I guess nobody will believe me as I am just starting off and he is already established. That's the sad part of it.
