People who think Mo is weak for getting knocked out by that are beyond me. Any hit to the head can knock you out if it hits you in the right spot, same way your leg can give out when you get hit on the perennial nerve. Hope this doesn’t leave lasting effects, great video

No disrespect, but as a person who has played a LOT of basketball, what MO Wagner did was not a basketball play AT ALL. It is very dangerous to redirect someone into solid objects when they are in a sprint. Luckily for Killian, he didn't impact anything at full speed or hit the wrong objects. It could've caused him to miss the season, or worst case, be career ending. I don't agree with the melee, but I understand the reaction to a very dirty play. Players know the consequences of those types of plays, so when you CHOOSE to engage in that, be ready for the response.

Three of my four concussions were hits to the back of my head, and let me tell you they are very, very serious. my last one was a seriously close call as I hit that bump on the back of the head with the full force of my body weight onto the edge of a solid wood chair (a woman moved my chair to go to the bathroom), so when I went to sit, chair wasn't where my butt was, but rather the back of my head. It was a delayed concussion and I remember about 5-10 minutes after, then being completely lifeless but hearing myself throwing up and my sister and her boyfriend carrying my limp body. I'm very lucky and thankful to still be alive after that last one.

Back when Dale Earnhardt died in the Daytona 500 from a basal skull fracture from a crash, NASCAR and subsequently just about all other car racing series mandated the use of the HANS (Head And Neck Safety) device, which specifically prevents the jerking of the head forward in a crash. No driver has died from a basal skull fracture while using a HANS device to my knowledge.

Wagner looked a little off after the hit from behind from Diallo, before Hayes even hit him. When he collides with the other Piston player he's standing still with his head in a weird position, and then Hayes hits the back of his head. Ugly situation. Diallo should catch a few games, Hayes should catch a LOT of games. Wagner maybe one for the push.
Watch more overhead view in slower speed, and focus on Wagner's head whiplash and hit the Piston player before Hayes hits him.
Edit to add: Baseline angle looking at Detroit bench. I'd say Wagner is out before Hayes hits him. Doesn't lessen or condone Hayes hit by any means.

It looks odd because it's 0.05 seconds slowed way down so every little bobble looks like he's unconscious.
