Every time I watch something from 2019, it feels like it's from another lifetime, another planet...an innocent one where we took for granted essential freedoms to social beings like us, ones that we never imagined could be taken away from us. In an instant. Things like going to the races with our friends, our families. I love watching stuff like this to remember that world, and appreciate IndyCar always having high quality past season's races up. Always did before....but now I have another reason to. Oh, and the Thrill form West Hill. We need PT back in that booth. He's a real person, not a bland, cheesy, hollow persona with a hack cliche addiction. Cheers!
That had to be one of the best races of the 2019 season, easily the best short oval race of the 2019 season and it was the best short oval INDYCAR race since IMO at Iowa 2014.
2:17:28 Takuma Sato is the man in 2017 and 2020 Indianapolis 500 winner, 2013 Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach winner, 2018 Grand Prix of Portland winner, 2019 Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama, and 2019 B.A.G 500 winner
Santino Ferrucci has become my favorite driver. Love his style. Little guy, big hair! With the pitch of these race cars, it really demonstrates the doppler effect. Cheers from eastern TN
Love this Oval racing & Im a long time F1 fan..edit that was an F1 fan quitting watching 2022! No longer a sport & racing like this makes F1 look stupidly boring.
They are an evolution of the cars being raced in the Indy series since 1911. F1 I imagine did have some influence between the 2 series since F1 had their first Grand Prix in 1950 though.
i remember that time where people were so mad at Takuma for the crash at Pocono. Then he silenced those doubters by winning here. What a race

As a Sato fan thank you for finally posting
I love the look of the short oval kit. It looks awesome

cool
As much as I accept the safety of the aeroscreen, I do still dearly miss the look of an open cockpit.
Very good... Indycar 👌

The audio is over a second behind the visuals guys.
Thankfully it's fixed by the post-race interviews, but yeah, the pre-race interviews were frustrating.

audio a lil off for anyone else?
There are things I don't like about Indycar, like the wings and push to pass, but it's not totally lame like F 1. OVALS are so much better racing

Andrew luck retired during this race
Charlie Kimball has to be the worst Race Car Driver in the history of the world. Its obscene how he runs people in the grass.
Looks like rip off F1 cars, I just came here to saw what these races were
found the elitist foreigner, guys!

this is real racing not who pays wins
Indy was actually first, and F1 even used the 500 as it's first races.
