Then add chopped boiled eggs, onion, bell pepper, pickle relish, a little mayo and mustard, mix up and taste. I like mine with extra mustard though lol. I'll have to try it with cucumbers and carrots now!!
Carrot top greens are so good, I've never heard of them being toxic, I grew up in a farm and we never wasted any part of the harvest. Broccoli leaves, radish leaves, pumpkin leaves, pea leaves. Many of the green leafy parts of the plants are edible and tasty, as well as extremely nutritious. Micro and baby greens from seedlings and baby plants are really flavorful and tasty too. If you're unsure what to do with them, just throw them in a mixed greens salad, or add them to soup or pasta. Any way is good, honestly. ✨

Yes - thank you for addressing this! I was saving my carrot scrapings and greens to give to my horse when another owner told me she uses them to make delicious pesto, puts them in soups, and the young leaves can be eaten raw in salads or mixed with rice. She was right and now I make those recipes as well as still sharing with my horse, of course. The greens, as well as carrots you grow yourself, tend to be quite ultra carrot-y in flavor, so you might want to taste test before adding them to an old recipe, just fyi. You can do the same with red globe radish leaves, but I didn’t care for them as much.

The pasta dish at the end looks great. I finally found first series of The Glory last night, and being in England I was glad they did English talk over. I watched all the episodes. Wow it was great. I hope I can get to watch the 2nd series

Only one child and I love tofu in my house, so I’m always left with half a package that I don’t get around to using before it goes bad. Same with bean sprouts, since they are so perishable. I can sometimes find split packages of firm or extra firm tofu so that you can use half while the other says sealed, but I’ve never found that kind of packaging for soft tofu. I hate wasting food, but sometimes I just forget about it and it gets pushed to the remote corners of my fridge.

@@scusatema That does sound quite nice and the eggs would cut the peppery bite of the leaves. Do you add any other ingredients to your frittata?
