I always tell everybody to grade on a buffet curve. We love Wood Grill because like Matt kept saying everything is just fine. I take advantage of a buffet when i can't make up my mind what i want. Another really good video!
That is a great point. We felt this buffet was just not worth what we paid, but if you can find the half off coupon, it would be different. Variety is a key benefit to these places. You guys are rock stars especially the husband for enduring all that mess! We have given them multiple tries and nope!!! We go to pigeon forge/gatlinburg multiple times a year and we are not frequent flyers of the wood grill!! Keep being yourselves!

Thank you for this video! We ate there in early June. We had the half off coupon. It was for lunch, and we absolutely loved it! Ended up eating there twice during our stay! Everything we ate was fresh and good. My favorites were the chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, and that lemon cake! It was soo good! I had a huge salad, and they had blueberries! It looks like if you have the coupon, that is the way to go! It was in a white book. I think it was the Pigeon Forge Tour Guide. We found it in front of the Food City on the Parkway. We are going back soon, and I can't wait! With the coupon, we thought it was a great deal! Love your show! ❤

I find when I watch you 2 that I get hungry.LOL.so to solve this..I plan on eating my meal as I watch you..today I ate a ham sandwich with mustard, crunchy lettuce and tomatoes...with lays bbq chips and a diet 7up...This buffet had some good food items. Good vid

I like Wood Grill but it’s definitely a hit and miss on different foods! I always get a salad, hot dog, American, Italian, tacos and a little more sides!!! I know it gets hate but I dig it!
We don't dislike it, we just felt the value ratio wasn't there for dinner. We would certainly go back and don't judge you at all! We did enjoy to variety and salad bar looked very fresh! Thanks for watching and commenting!

That is a huge selection of buffet items at the Wood Grill Buffet. Great that they have most of the food in different sections. The baked potato bar looks so good. They sure do offer a huge selection of meats. Some of my favorites look to be the ribs, fried chicken, chicken wings and the 2 kinds of mac & cheese and the lemon layer cake for dessert. For the price the quality should have been better. Thanks for sampling all that variety of food.

@@RaysontheRoad Hi Staci & Matt, Tonight I went to Texas Roadhouse which is the closest we can get to down home country food. Instead of steak, I got the smothered "grilled" chicken breast topped with sautéed onions and mushrooms with brown gravy on the side. My 2 sides were the house salad with their homemade thousand Island dressing and mashed potatoes. Let me tell you that this meal was excellent. The grilled chicken was so juicy and the salad with thousand island was cold and fresh. I highly recommend it for one of your future reviews. I was thinking of you two when I was enjoying this meal because I think you would enjoy it for sure. 😋 I don't get appetizers at Texas Roadhouse because they are a good price but are cheap quality and are fried in old oil. But their entrees and salad are excellent. Take Care. Steven
We like Texas Roadhouse. I'm not sure if it is still the case but each location used to employ a butcher. Which is pretty unique these days. That dish does sound good, grilled chicken, if done right, is hard to beat. I don't know what they do to their mushrooms there but they are good. I have added that dish to our list of things we need to try. Homemade dressings are always better than the bottled ones in my opinion. The apps there are hit or miss in our experience. My husband and I like to go to buffets like this during the lunch hours so you're paying the lunch prices but still getting a decent buffet. We plan to do that at the Wood Grill buffet too when we come up in a few weeks

So sad, my family and I have been there several times and always enjoyed. Though it has been several years now and the food seems to have gone down. If you haven’t been l, a restaurant I would recommend is Huck Finns, the vittles are amazing! 🤗
We really hate it when places aren't great but we have to present it to you honestly. We would have it much easier and grow the channel faster if we would just smile and say it was all great but... we all work hard for money that we spend in these places so it wouldn't be fair to you all if we didn't show it to you all good or bad. We have not been to Huck Finn's yet, but it is on our list. I hear they have good catfish though.

Always stop and get the coupon books.. they normally have a buy one get one half off coupon… My husband won’t eat at buffets so I never get to try them but I’ve seen other people use the coupons
