I guess the AA one would be Christie rather than Nikki then since Totally Hair is obviously a 90s call back and Nikki didn't debut until like 1999(in Totally Yo-Yo) and Kira and Nikki were never in the same lineup because by the time Nikki became a doll in the main line, Kira was replaced by Raquelle. And funny that you had said that the dress of the black Totally Hair 2022 doll reminds you of My Scene because just as you said that I noticed that the necklace she's wearing is actually a My Scene mold! Love that Mattel is using the MS jewelry molds to this day. Kira also wears Fashionistas 2010 shoes! Just noticed, funny that you mentioned them too. Also from what I can tell in this vid, Christie's pink streaks are poly and the turquoise ones look like Saran to me xx Highly agree on the absence of the bend n snap legs...these new bodies are so ugly and cheap:( The Rewind doll is referencing Great Shape Barbie, one of the most iconic dolls of the 80s and she's using the Asha sculpt!!
Awh, I enjoyed your Barbie videos. I am a sucker on reproduction Barbies…and I got 6 rewind Barbie’s. I am glad to know they have bendy legs. I grew up in that era with straight legs back in 1960’s when I was four years old. I remembered they came out with new style of bendy legs after 1965…I enjoyed them so much. I am not a fan with what these Barbie’s looked like now. I love these heavy feel Barbie’s with rubbery legs. I was on the fence about ordering Chrissy because I still love the vintage faces. After seeing this video…it might encourage me to order her later. I can’t wait to unbox my rewind Barbie’s…since I am still working on my doll room. 😍
