So u visited before the road got closed.. actually when we wre plnning for the trip i.e. in july our agent told us the road is closed and i myself too saw crossed mark against Gurudongmar road on a board at chumthang.. before the road divides into lachen and lachung route..

Its just last week i was there(sikkim) and the road to Gurudongmar lake was closed..how did u guys visited Gurudongmar lake then?
It got closed due to heavy rain fall,several land slides and broking of a wooden bridge.. we went there before those incidents..
