The Central Park Concert captures Dave Matthews Band in one of their finest moments. The benefit concert, a show staged on Central Park's Great Lawn on September 24, 2003, was recorded in stereo and 5.1 audio and shot with 30 cameras. The live shows includes 21 fan favorites like “Don’t Drink The Water,” “Two Step,” and “Warehouse.”

My dad was the biggest DMB fan ever!! He passed almost three years ago now, but I can still hear him singing this and dancing along in the kitchen. Good lord do I miss him. Thank you Dave Matthews for your gift of music.

My brother got the DVD set when it first came out. Still watch it regularly!
I had the portable cd player with the cassette player adapter with the cigarette lighter charger. The player was set up on springs and mounted to the dashboard. It still skipped of course!😂and this album was always in the car.
Best live performance I ever had the privilege of attending. Awesome musicians. Incredibly talented.

Watching the whole crew throughout and then see Dave catch the vibe from Boyd and see that Boyd was having a special moment on this song, and stare him down is....awesome. This is one of my favorite all time live performances of any band caught on camera

I remember hearing this Album for the first time in 93 and I still jam it all the time..The 90s were the pinnacle of pop culture..So glad I got to be there for it!

I know! I'm so disappointed in him. He's so talented & was a keystone of the band. The sound is totally different for me with their new music & it's just not the same. They're still an amazing band & I would love to see them live again. I haven't seen them in 19 years.

I can’t help but think of weird shit when I see him in old videos like this, I mean, I’ve always thought there was an off side to him, but we ALL have our demons. Idc who you are. Just because you don’t say yours out loud done mean it’s not there. He disappointed a lot of people though. That’s hard and impossible to come back from. Think about how the band had to have felt letting another one go. After Roi, no one thought things could change again:

for some reason today I was playing in my head the moment when dave presents the band during "Jimmy Thing". Open spotify to listen to the record and realized in a second that I could probably watch it on YT. Came here and surprise! I've been here before 😂
I get goosebumps whenever they go into jam mode. I’m a drummer myself and when you’re playing with a band on some songs , you get this unique kind of high almost . Goosebumps and just a crazy feeling of excitement that you would never experience anywhere else .

5:54-9:43 is about as good as a jam session can get. Nothing better than a good DMB show and this is the best of them all.

Single greatest concert by DMB of all time! All other of their shows should be measured against this as the benchmark. Unfortunately they will all fall short of this!

Hey Joshua - I just recently attended two concerts in Tahoe and Mountain View - they were beyond epic and Dave's vocals are stronger and truly incredible. What a great violin player is Boyt. Bring him back or replace it, the sound is half the quality without him. It is really needed in the band. The DMB sound is based on Dave's voice, violin and the great musicians of the band, but the violin is fundamental. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
