Thank you, I hope you don't suffer too much with your arthritis. I have had to cut down on the amount of videos but I am managing ok at the moment. I have trouble with thicker wool so prefer to crochet with cotton. I don't stitch the appliques together on video because it was too difficult with the position I had to hold the work for filming. I'm looking forward to designing many more appliques.

Hi Kerri - thanks for another absolutely brilliant design (which I've used as decoration for a dog biscuit jar for my friends birthday) - I only started crochet during lockdown, but I've become totally "hooked" (your sheep was the first "complicated" thing I ever made - 4 of 'em for a cushion!!) - I've become a bit more adept and increased my skills to the point that I can make from written patterns - but with this one I watched the vid as I wanted to figure out if I could do it using single rather than double crochet (smallest hook I've got is a 2mm & I only had DK, but it still needed to be small enough to fit on the jar) - with a bit of tweaking it worked a treat so thanks for another total winner xxx I did notice a comment from someone saying it was hard to see what you were doing in the video - this is true for a beginner (I'm a whizz kid now so no problem haha) - with you arthritis I can see the difficulty - maybe you could re-record making a "big version" and then tell people they can use a smaller hook/finer yarn XXX Keep up the good work as you're a blessing to the likes of me, where you're a first stop if I want to crochet an applique anything xxx
Thank you Nicki, I'm glad that you've found crochet and you like my patterns. This was one of the first videos that I've made, I've been using a bit larger yarn and going a bit slower on the newer videos.

Thank you, I'm not able to use thicker yarn in the big projects as it makes my arthritis bad. I will be using thick yarn for a beginner series I'll be starting soon as I won't be doing so much crochet. I do have my patterns on my website at www.kerriscrochet.com

Hello Janet, Thank you for your comment. I usually use very fine cotton for crocheting because I find the thicker the cotton the sorer my hands get with my arthritis. I am using the thickest cotton I can comfortably use for the filming. Kerri.

Hola, gracias por los comentarios. Este fue uno de mis primeros videos. Desde entonces he conseguido un fondo más claro y una mejor iluminación, por lo que debería ser más fácil de ver. Tengo problemas para usar hilos más gruesos porque tengo artritis y si hago ganchillo por mucho tiempo, duele. Sin embargo, he estado haciendo algunos de mis videos más cortos con un hilo un poco más grueso.

Hello Norma, I don't speak Spanish but I've tried adding subtitles that were done using a computer translating program on the computer. I hope that it's understandable.
