Nothing repetitive about your videos. I enjoy them equally as much as Nathan’s ‘Out of the Woods’ videos. I’m at the other end of what you do, I build fine furniture (as my hobby) from rough sawn timber and then dimension it down for what need to make the pieces into.

You young ladies know so much more about a lot of things than I did at your age. It is enjoyable learning about the lumber business. We used those jacks like your grandpa is using back in the 1950s on our farm. I like your brother's skate boarding. I have scars from skateboard falls in the 1960s.

Give him a big hug every time you see him, a good grandpa is hard to come by these days and when missed is even harder!! Ladies I love the videos, as a now retired remodeler and residential home builder you have opened my eyes to the intense labor, investment and in your case joint family devotion needed to create Board Footage that I have never appreciated. When I watch you young ladies work, I think to myself, I wish I could work like these young ladies.

Get yourselves a quick-clamp to put on that 2x material when you're ripping for width. That way the outside boards won't fall off and you can use the mill to push them back a bit quicker than having to rearrange them.

I suggest that you raise the outboard ends of the 2 ramps to the Mill so you are canting logs 'downhill' a bit. When levelling something, start at the low point. I am sure he could lower the Mill, it is important that you are comfortable when running it. Skateboarder should be shoveling sawdust.
