Call buyer has no obligation is not true, if 3 strikes below or above and if buyer is not able to square off position due to non-liquidity, then he has to take compulsory delivery. No one tells this and hence while trading in stock options be careful.
True. No one will publicly tell their trade secrets. Hence use brains. I would say make you own protocols and deep dive into this market. Thats the best way to move ahead.
What is the solution for liquidity? Should we trade only first 2 weeks of the month in stock options and should square within in 2 weeks or 3rd week? I guess in Nifty50 stocks liquidity problems is less ...what is compulsory delivery is it like we need to pay in cash to book the profit or loss ? Can u pls guide me ?
The major issue in this is that you will never be able to keep 2% SL in any options trade. For example, if 1 BNF option is of Rs 10,000/-, 2% means INR 200.00, which is just 8 point move of option and 16 point move in BNF. It will be just few seconds for BNF to hit your SL. Same thing in stock options. The general rule in options trading is min 10% SL. That is the biggest issue for options buyers. If they hit 10% SL in 3 or 4 trades simultaneously, they lose almost half of the capital. And if you want to limit the option lots to fit 2% rule of overall capital, its nothing but playing in cash. Rather I will suggest buy in cash because Time will not affect the price. Option buying is High Risk High Reward business. You can not unfortunately expect high rewards by keeping your risk minimum. Vivekji picked up this correctly and he did not look convinced either of going for options rather than cash.
Ashish ji... 2 % stoploss is on the capital and not the option value :) I have mentioned in the video that for option buying you should have a min 5 lakh capital (preferably 10 lakh ) Now on a 5 lakh capital if u buy a 200 rs Banknifty CE option and your initial stoploss is 100.. You can buy 4 lots of that BN CE (100 qty) And if your stoploss gets hit then u lose 10k which is 2% of the capital so it works this way

Nice video for newbies specially and also good for experience trader too few points specially. Though I have my own Ta set up which good results still learn new idea of selecting strike. It's nice idea. But I suggest newbies to trade in top 4 -5 banks their good liquidity. Axis bank is best for regular income as it's give good swing trade both side. You will only get success in option buying when you have good TA strategy. Bollinger band breakout / down is also good one. Along with it use non conventional adx and rsi too. 👍

Indeed, it is an awesome video, Ankit makes option buying very simple. The only thing I was unable to understand is 2% SL Trade Management Theory. Today is 23rd July and ACC is in Narrow Bolinger Band. 2200 CE is the highest OI and it cost you 21.75/- but its 2% is just 21.315/-. This SL is nothing and it can be hit very easily or I'm doing something wrong. I'll be very grateful if you correct me where am I wrong?.

Indeed, it is an awesome video, Ankit makes option buying very simple. The only thing I was unable to understand is 2% SL Trade Management Theory. Today is 23rd July and ACC is in Narrow Bolinger Band. 2200 CE is the highest OI and it cost you 21.75/- but its 2% is just 21.315/-. This SL is nothing and it can be hit very easily or I'm doing something wrong. I'll be very grateful if you correct me where am I wrong?.
2% SL should be of your trading capital and not the option price :)

@@millennialmind9507 So on a 5 lakh capital .. U can risk 10k per trade as the initial stoploss
Sl is not on prize. 2% sl is on your 5 lac capital

Falcon, Tradepoint also Zerodha, Fyers bhi deta hai......option strike price chart (Free)
This works only intraday, no matter whatever parameters match ultimately next day anything can happen oi can be totally changed etc.
You can take overnight also.. Agree that OI can change next day but if stock moves in your favor u will still earn money
