Informative! Even better because now I have more questions x) regarding a bit of the harder side of techno, or just different flavor of hypnotic
    1. (More on long kicks) What about the more loose stuff like pumping rumbles, I guess you can resample and play in MIDI to achieve some level of control, or do you work with audio?
    2. My rumbles are 50/50, mostly when layering the mid and higher texture, and when creating a supportive bassline of some sort, I lose the low end drive by trying to make everything fit together, I find this especially hard if I want to mix a 909 with rumble, texture and a 303 for example
    3. Regarding basslines, you mentioned your low end is in 0-2 Oct range, when do you decide okay this low end element is occupying too much outside of the low end, basically making the bassline both a low element and a lead (in case of operator hypnotic sequences and 303’s)
    4. Extending the last question, maybe it’s more about arrangement, but if let’s say the Operator or 303 serves both as low end and as a main element or lead, how do you approach mixing it and building around it, to not keep the track boring, and maybe also introducing new leads but keeping the previous element for low end support
Kind of hard to word all of these questions because it’s all so close to each other, but those are my worries after watching this and clearing previous questions.
Keep up the good work 👍

@@hypnotictechnoproduction Hey, that's understandable, maybe atleast I gave you ideas for some videos with my long comment :)
At one point, I would like to join the program or buy one of your courses, right now I have to fix my finances first, then upgrade gear and in the end invest in production knowledge, I'll definitely keep your program in mind!
Thank you for taking the time to read my comment, and for giving us all the other informative content for free!

hey, I was wondering the same thing. have you found anything on how to manage the lower frequency space with kics + rumble + bass? this vid is very good but doesn't really mention rumble

@@felxhus yeah, I bought DT990 headphones and I can finally hear what I’m doing in the lows and be precise lol. Before that I was mixing on really bad headphones and dealing with low end was really hard most of the time.
Basically you need good sounds, EQ and filter them so they each dominate one spot in the frequencies (I might overlap a bit), sidechain or volume automation, pattern matters, decay matters, pitch matters. And I guess experimenting, some stuff just doesn’t work together.
