I certainly could have used this last week. I had a color and cut on Wed and my stylist did the same haircut on me. The undercut and hi-lights, which I really like but If I had seen this earlier, I could have asked for more of the PC texturing. Oh well, next time. I was also told that I was his fourth person in two days to get this style. Must be the 21st century take of the pixie cut. 😉

I have tried 4 different stylists and nobody can cut it right.I practically have the same hair as you. My hair is thick and course and I have godlike in the crown. I show my stylists every picture of your hair and tell exactly what Christine says and they still don't get it right. But I will not give up.
This is exactly my problem! I take pictures of Sharalee in and tell my stylist that I want a cut like Sharalee’s. They nod and then just basically do a boring run-of-the-mill cut. My husband is always amazed when I show him the pictures I took into the salon with me. I ask him, “Well, does it look like the pictures?” (Because I know it doesn’t.😉). He can’t believe how my stylists (yes, I have been through many) don’t listen. Also, my hair is super thick and no one will actually texturize out the bulk. My husband also told me to find out where you are located and that we would take a vacation there so I can finally get the cut I want!! Yes, please!

As a stylist for 50 years. Kristen is an artist! The highlights make the pixie cut. Color, foils any kind of coloring or bleaching will make a haircut long or short just pop and condition shine the hair if done well. She is a great talent for our profession👏🏻👍🏻

Thanks for the measurements!🤓😊 I took a cosmetology course in my twenties, & also worked in salons, that was in the early 70’s. I wore my hair short in high school because I had SO much of it! The 2022 pixie 🧚♀️ is SO cute on Sharalee!!! The first time I did the pixie on myself I didn’t go all the way up to the parietal ridge, & I used the #4 clipper guard!!! It didn’t look much different than a wedge cut. So, being afraid to go too short on top I left it at my usual 3 1/2 inches! After watching this video I will have the courage to make the spikes on top!!! Thanks SO much for giving the measurements!!!😉🧚♀️🤓

I cried so much that I couldn’t get to the salon and it killed my back doing it myself so eventually I buzz cut it with my understanding but somewhat nervous 😩husband. Number 4 all over. It was so freeing but I did grow it back long. Now I’m a very short Bob but I’m booked into my hairdresser tomorrow afternoon and in getting it cut all funky like yours. I love 💕 it. Lord yes. Thank you for the 40 vol. I am so over these stylist acting like 20 vol. is getting wild! For real - let’s be honest - most super light blondes don’t occur in nature so you know it’s taking some 40 vol. to get the results we want. Slap a mask on after - you’ll be fine.
Hi I do have white hair naturally but I have a darker strip on the back area… my hairdresser was using 40vol for 1 hr but last 3rd time she used 60v for 1hr bc that strip is stubborn..she always asks me is it burning but No it doesn’t burn at all after 30mins she puts it all thru my hair.. which I’m happy with ..I’ve had a very short pixie for yrs & now I’m going to let it grow a bit… Blessings Marc from Australia. 😘😘🇦🇺🇦🇺🙏

I love your hairstyle and I was so glad you made this video showing how it's done! Since I recently moved, I don't have a regular stylist so I sent this video to a stylist that was recommended to me. She quickly fast-forwarded thru it and then she proceeded to destroy my hair. (I wear glasses, which I have to take off during haircuts so couldn't see what she was doing until it was too late.) She cut the undercut too high on the head, up into the crown and above the widow's peaks by about a half inch. She then cut the bangs in a U shape (instead of longer on the sides) and about a half inch over my brows, then cut a 1" notch in my bangs above the left temple. The bangs aren't even at all and there's also a notch above my right eye. The hair over my left ear is a half inch shorter than over the right, which was cut too short also. She left the back way too long to cover up where the undercut was cut up into the crown, in a V shape that extended below the occipital bone. I contacted her, and the only thing she will do is send me a refund. I can't style it the way it is and I have no idea how I'm supposed to fix this mess other than praying for alopecia.

Wow , that is so short but I love it and the colour. I like your top too. I’ve got a salon appointment in 2 days for a trim to my long pixie but, although it scares me, I’m seriously thinking of asking my stylist to take it a lot shorter like yours.
I know it can be scary, thinking about shaving the sides and back but after the initial shock wears off, you may really love it😘 Hope your hair appointment went well!

Hi Sharalee, At my hair appointment today, I had an undercut cut into my existing pixie. I need a bit more length on the top to get mine to sweep as nicely to the side as yours but am really happy and excited with it thus far! I have had very short hair (cut around my ears) for most of my adult life and cannot imagine letting my hair grow over my ears ever again! In between your salon visits, do you have hair regrowth on your neck and how do you deal with it... sometimes I would shave my neck in the shower but am wondering if I should consider getting that lasered. Mine is not super heavy but it does grow out and then makes the hairline appear a bit shaggy if I don't maintain it in some way. Any thoughts or suggestions? I would really love for her to do that cut and color on me. I was finally getting my hair cut like yours and l needed a trim, and my regular stylist was not available. I went to a place recommended by someone l know. BIG MISTAKE. He scalped me🥺. Its been a couple of weeks now since that happened. My hair is growing back out. It seems to grow pretty fast, thank God. I've been working to get a like cut for a couple of years. Its close but not the same. My hair is fine so product is a must which I don't mind. Where is this stylist located?
Thanks for this video, Sharalee. Love your stylist, Kirsten. With Covid, I've been cutting my own pixie cut and finally got the courage to use a #3 last time. Will use the #2 today. Wish I'd found this and the first video you did with her earlier in the year. I sort of accidentally cut mine this way, but used the #3 and razor on my last cut. I found using the shaver and scissors were simply too hard going round on my thick hair. Then today I found both this and the last video of her cuts for you, and was surprised that she didn't use the razor when cutting going round this time. Kinda confused about the switch. Was there a reason that she went sans the razor this time? Again, thanks.

I had my hair highlighted yesterday, the hair was pulled through a cap. after the cap was removed an ash toner was added. Instead of my hair being bright and white/ platinum highlights, my whole head had gone yellow/orange including my own mid brown natural hair that had no highlights. We tried some corrective colouring and I'm due to go back next week to try and correct it to hopefully get it more like your hair, which is what we were aiming for. Just wondering if anyone has any idea why all of my hair went orange? This is the 2nd time having highlights, first time was with foils and a darker colour was added to my hair at the roots as I had a warm blonde colour all over. Most of this blonde colour has grown out and I had at least 2" of natural colour root hair this time. If this doesn't work I may need to let all colour inc highlights grow out then start again? Just wondering also how your toner is applied, just to highlights or all over? Thanks for reading, I know it's long x

Wow , that is so short but I love it and the colour. I like your top too. I’ve got a salon appointment in 2 days for a trim to my long pixie but, although it scares me, I’m seriously thinking of asking my stylist to take it a lot shorter like yours.
I know it can be scary, thinking about shaving the sides and back but after the initial shock wears off, you may really love it😘 Hope your hair appointment went well!

Love your haircut, and color. Question I have thick texture on the back but thin texture on top front. Would it possibly be a good cut for me? I know you recommend products that tend to help thicken your hair.
Hi Sharalee, At my hair appointment today, I had an undercut cut into my existing pixie. I need a bit more length on the top to get mine to sweep as nicely to the side as yours but am really happy and excited with it thus far! I have had very short hair (cut around my ears) for most of my adult life and cannot imagine letting my hair grow over my ears ever again! In between your salon visits, do you have hair regrowth on your neck and how do you deal with it... sometimes I would shave my neck in the shower but am wondering if I should consider getting that lasered. Mine is not super heavy but it does grow out and then makes the hairline appear a bit shaggy if I don't maintain it in some way. Any thoughts or suggestions? Love your channel and your piano concerts!!

I would really love for her to do that cut and color on me. I was finally getting my hair cut like yours and l needed a trim, and my regular stylist was not available. I went to a place recommended by someone l know. BIG MISTAKE. He scalped me🥺. Its been a couple of weeks now since that happened. My hair is growing back out. It seems to grow pretty fast, thank God. I go next week for cut and color by my stylist. 🤞🤞🙏 will let you know how it comes out.

Thanks for this video, Sharalee. Love your stylist, Kirsten. With Covid, I've been cutting my own pixie cut and finally got the courage to use a #3 last time. Will use the #2 today. Wish I'd found this and the first video you did with her earlier in the year. I sort of accidentally cut mine this way, but used the #3 and razor on my last cut. I found using the shaver and scissors were simply too hard going round on my thick hair. Then today I found both this and the last video of her cuts for you, and was surprised that she didn't use the razor when cutting going round this time. Kinda confused about the switch. Was there a reason that she went sans the razor this time? Again, thanks.

I'm so angry, because Friday went to a salon to do same hairstyle and it was my first time going there the lady did a complete mess. There is nothing I could do now to correct this hair mess is too short.

I had my hair highlighted yesterday, the hair was pulled through a cap. after the cap was removed an ash toner was added. Instead of my hair being bright and white/ platinum highlights, my whole head had gone yellow/orange including my own mid brown natural hair that had no highlights. We tried some corrective colouring and I'm due to go back next week to try and correct it to hopefully get it more like your hair, which is what we were aiming for. Just wondering if anyone has any idea why all of my hair went orange? This is the 2nd time having highlights, first time was with foils and a darker colour was added to my hair at the roots as I had a warm blonde colour all over. Most of this blonde colour has grown out and I had at least 2" of natural colour root hair this time. If this doesn't work I may need to let all colour inc highlights grow out then start again?
Just wondering also how your toner is applied, just to highlights or all over? Thanks for reading, I know it's long x
