Once upon a time, there was a young boy. Things weren’t easy for him, as people where always making fun of him, calling him weak and small. His only friends, Melissa and Jerry stood up for him. But on one sacred day, the two weren’t there. The bullies went to far, and left him on the ground to bleed after beating him for several minutes. He attempted to stand up, but immediately fell over. When he lifted his head though, he saw a glowing crystal. It was red and he hadn’t remembered it being there before; he picked it up to examine it, finally able to at least sit upright. Suddenly, the crystal began flashing and glowing furiously, there was a large burst of light. The boy stood up, the crystal was nowhere in sight. In the distance, he saw a large truck, kidnappers presumably. Waiting to snatch this seemingly unarmed child. However, when the man grabbed the boy, something peculiar happened. He attempted to hit the attacker, almost knowing that he wouldn’t be able to reach the mans face. But, light shot out of the boys hands, and the man was set on fire. Unexpectedly, the man started laughing as the fire put itself out. “He’s the one” the man spoke into an outdated cellphone. The man and the boy trained up his powers, making him stronger after the boy realized it was a test. That night when the boy went home, he didn’t tell his parents- fearing they wouldn’t understand. He did however, explain everything to Melissa and Jerry the next day. From that day forward, with Jerry and Melissa as his sidekicks, he helped those in need. And they called him, *fire boy*
This comic was probably the best price of literary I have ever seen. I got so attached to the characters. I almost cried at the end because of the great character building and story development. 9999999/10. Would read always ever forever.
