The first time I heard this track, I thought it was Heart. It is my 2nd favorite song on the Phantoma album behind Ghosts In the Mist.
Such a great song, definitley one of my favorites off the album and I pretty much reacted the same way, her voice touches the soul

I feel like people were complaining about this album because they were expecting the full force, high energy power metal we got from Apex and Abyss. But I'm also willing to bet those same people were the ones complaining that the songs in those albums all sounded too similar.
Great song, great reaction and comments from all. Unfortunately, I ordered the Blood Empress vinyl and with its delay, I still havent been able to listen to the whole album yet. As soon as it arrives, Its going to get cranked up to 11

I would love to see you react to a band called pain of salvation. I would recommend the song Restless Boy.
I was expecting more uplifting "whoa-whoa's" to pop up in the 2nd half, but it makes sense that they don't, when you hear the rest of the tracks/chapters. This album sounds like an actual 80's soundtrack or a Blade Runner-esque musical, which is pure genius.
14:20 - I think when we get to "Give It Up...", PH4/NT0-mA's been at odds with both humans and her own kind. "Blood Empress" is sort of the album's outro, where we see what she's become. I actually felt a little depressed at that point😄.
I think the "dislike" shown towards the album, is mainly because of the "Green And Glass" video which uses AI. Exactly how AI was used has been explained in numerous interviews and there's a disclaimer at the beginning of the video, so I don't get the fuss - it's a concept album _about_ AI🤷♀. The AI also helps make the "council" look extra creepy when they're laughing at PH4/NT0-mA and the video, in general, looks like a Heavy Metal movie.
The rest of the band apparently voted against doing "Give It Up..." live, but who knows...😄
