This is a great message. Since I was a teenager I felt this way that church should not just be a place you fellowship with on Sunday but also during the week. The problem is in society today everyone has their own busy lives and groups of friends. Even when you have social media you rarely hear from others. It is tough. I really value freindships and people. I just feel I tend to be the one that reaches out more. It is tough. Thanks for this message. It spoke to me.

Loneliness is extremely painful. It hurts so bad when you have no one to deeply connect with. Jesus to me seems so far away. I call on Him but he doesn’t answer. I love him so much but for some reason I can’t feel his help and comfort. It hurts so bad💔

Hi Krystal! I'm sorry I know that can be a difficult place to be. Is there a Christian church near you that maybe has a ladies Sunday School class or group. Or maybe one that meets online. Our church has a ladies group, and it's been a huge help & blessing to so many of us. I wish you could join us. Don't give up. Keep trusting Jesus, no matter what!
It’s sad how you even don’t know you are hurting and lonely or deserve love and kindness until you meet the people and community who are so loving and caring that it feels so weird and unworthy of it. I hope everyone who is hurting find this community ❤
I have been part of a church for years but I'm not getting the community support that I need. I've been feeling lonely from time to time since covid started and even after church reopened, and recently the loneliness I feel is more intense and frequent. I considered attending other churches but I feel shy when meeting new people in groups. I also don't have close friends from other churches to help me integrate into a new church. I need to do this on my own and I need courage from God to step into new social groups. If you guys would pray for me to have the courage from God to find the community support that I need, that would be greatly appreciated!

Sometimes we have to search from one church to another for the group that we feel will welcome us. Don't give up, Gods got this. You could start by looking online at the prospective churches and see what they are about. But in the meantime. we pray. God will hear your prayers and things will change. Thank you. It feels comforting to hear someone acknowledge that loneliness isn't just an issue with us not being close enough to God, it's an issue with us not being close enough to each other. I keep hearing people say that you need to be comfortable being by yourself. I'm dealing with a sudden breakup because she wasn't ready for intimacy and connection required for a relationship and pulled out as soon as it got tough. The next day, my grandmother died suddenly. All of this happened why I was away at school getting my engineering degree. After these two losses, it feels like a wound has reopened and I'm all alone once again. I really desire that closeness and intimacy with someone. And as a guy, we are pretty much always alone. I'm exhausted. I'm in so much pain. I need to know and be known by another.

I've somehow managed to keep going, and I'm going to the gym regularly, working on my eating, I'm going mountain biking on Sunday and I just bought some stuff to make it doable to mountain bike regularly and make it more enjoyable, and I've stuck with what I said I would do. I'm currently alone in my apartment, just did some dishes, doing some laundry, and I got my room cleaned and ready. Just got done with some homework, and I think I'm about to play some guitar or read, fold some clothes, take a shower, and then head to bed. I'm working with my therapist on reframing isolation from a negative to a positive, or at least neutral. So I'm figuring out how to be independent. I've decided through rationalizing and getting counsel from some godly friends, that the friend group that my ex is in, is not a friend group I really need to stress about being in. They are very clique-y, and the efforts into being a good friend that I put out aren't being reciprocated. All of them are freshmen, so it makes sense that they would still have a high school mentality which I am not used to anymore. I just got back from hanging out with some work friends which I really needed, it helped me lighten up and enjoy myself.

I feel lonely I awkward sit alone at church. Today at church I couldn’t concentrate on the word I felt so much pain from the loneliness I feel. I just wanted to cry. I get why I keep falling into the same traps of sin. It’s because of the loneliness. I want something to fill the void so I don’t have to feel the pain. It only helps temporarily though. I came across this sermon today after getting home from church and I’m grateful for it.

Thank you for this message. I have been saying this and longing for this for so many years. I have struggled with attending church in the past because of a lack of hospitality. I now live in Yellowstone National Park and it is difficult to get out and go to church. I'm grateful for a few believers here but I still miss a welcoming spirit among believers. Don't be afraid. You don't have to have a beautiful home, great cooking skills, or anything else. Just invite a fellow believer to spend time with you. Church is not supposed to be ruled by our 'independent culture' we are the Church!

I have learned in my life that bringing my feelings to God, helps. God is truly there for us, all the time. Every moment. He knows our struggles and difficulties. I talk to God and hold on for a bit, sometimes days. He shows me things that make situations clearer. The world is a hard place, but we have God to lean on. Emilie I would love to pray for you. Dear God, I come before you for your daughter Emilie. Lord, you know her trials and tribulations. Please God send angels of wisdom to her. Gather Emilie to yourself and guild her on the road to righteousness. Protect her from evil. This is exactly what I need! I’ve recently became a Christian even though I grew up a different religion. It’s really hard to connect with people because I don’t have a church here to connect with like minded believers. And all my old friends cut me off after I started a new journey. I’m praying that God give me the fellowship I long for.

I can tell you that with God life has gotten so much better. Everyday can be a struggle but, I just try, and I know that God is always there for me. I know it is hard for people to understand when they don't suffer from it like we do. Not every day is where I want it to be, but I believe that God has a plan for us. He will never leave our side as he says in. Hebrews 13:5. We build our faith in God by prayer and studying his word. I would love to pray for you on your journey to righteousness. Dear Lord God, I come before you with your son Nicolas by my side. God, I know that you know Nicolas and you know his heart. Please send angels of healing and strength to Nicolas. I'd love to start a life church here in waukesha, WI. I have a great community support but I have tried many churches in the area and the second I start to share my story and how far I have come with Jesus, I get looked at like I have 50 eyes. Despite the fact that they all say all are welcome. Anyway, God is great and have put some amazing people in my life. But there is a honest lack of believers for sure. I have looked again into several life groups also. Thanks for all you do. It is important for so many kinds of people, even those of us who might keep walking away from the building but they haven't walked away from Jesus.

Sometimes we have to search from one church to another for the group that we feel will welcome us. Don't give up, Gods got this. You could start by looking online at the prospective churches and see what they are about. But in the meantime. we pray. God will hear your prayers and things will change. That is a promise that he gave us in Matthew 7:7.

I come before you with your daughter Alice. You know your daughter better than any of us. You know Alice's heart and soul. God, Alice needs you now. She is looking for a welcoming friendly church. Please find Alice the proper church family where they will welcome her with open arms. A place full of YOU GOD. Send Alice wisdom for her journey. Please send Alice angels of understanding and angels that will take away her loneliness. God, please wrap your arms around Alice right now. She needs you. God, YOUR words are true and everlasting. Thank you. It feels comforting to hear someone acknowledge that loneliness isn't just an issue with us not being close enough to God, it's an issue with us not being close enough to each other.
I keep hearing people say that you need to be comfortable being by yourself. I'm dealing with a sudden breakup because she wasn't ready for intimacy and connection required for a relationship and pulled out as soon as it got tough.
The next day, my grandmother died suddenly. All of this happened why I was away at school getting my engineering degree. After these two losses, it feels like a wound has reopened and I'm all alone once again. I really desire that closeness and intimacy with someone. And as a guy, we are pretty much always alone.
I'm exhausted. I'm in so much pain. I need to know and be known by another.

I've somehow managed to keep going, and I'm going to the gym regularly, working on my eating, I'm going mountain biking on Sunday and I just bought some stuff to make it doable to mountain bike regularly and make it more enjoyable, and I've stuck with what I said I would do.
I'm currently alone in my apartment, just did some dishes, doing some laundry, and I got my room cleaned and ready. Just got done with some homework, and I think I'm about to play some guitar or read, fold some clothes, take a shower, and then head to bed.
I'm working with my therapist on reframing isolation from a negative to a positive, or at least neutral. So I'm figuring out how to be independent. I've decided through rationalizing and getting counsel from some godly friends, that the friend group that my ex is in, is not a friend group I really need to stress about being in. They are very clique-y, and the efforts into being a good friend that I put out aren't being reciprocated. All of them are freshmen, so it makes sense that they would still have a high school mentality which I am not used to anymore.
I just got back from hanging out with some work friends which I really needed, it helped me lighten up and enjoy myself.
I’m lonely in my marriage, and I miss my husband. God please bring him back to me in Jesus name. Amen

I feel lonely I awkward sit alone at church. Today at church I couldn’t concentrate on the word I felt so much pain from the loneliness I feel. I just wanted to cry. I get why I keep falling into the same traps of sin. It’s because of the loneliness. I want something to fill the void so I don’t have to feel the pain. It only helps temporarily though. I came across this sermon today after getting home from church and I’m grateful for it.

Thank you for this message. I have been saying this and longing for this for so many years. I have struggled with attending church in the past because of a lack of hospitality. I now live in Yellowstone National Park and it is difficult to get out and go to church. I'm grateful for a few believers here but I still miss a welcoming spirit among believers. Don't be afraid. You don't have to have a beautiful home, great cooking skills, or anything else. Just invite a fellow believer to spend time with you. Church is not supposed to be ruled by our 'independent culture' we are the Church!

I read you comment and can understand how you feel. Life can be hard. Especially for us that have feelings that others don't understand. I have learned in my life that bringing my feelings to God, helps. God is truly there for us, all the time. Every moment. He knows our struggles and difficulties. I talk to God and hold on for a bit, sometimes days. He shows me things that make situations clearer. The world is a hard place, but we have God to lean on.

This is exactly what I need! I’ve recently became a Christian even though I grew up a different religion. It’s really hard to connect with people because I don’t have a church here to connect with like minded believers. And all my old friends cut me off after I started a new journey. I’m praying that God give me the fellowship I long for.

I am so glad that you joined up today. I can totally relate to you with the agoraphobia. I myself suffer from that. Many years. I can tell you that with God life has gotten so much better. Everyday can be a struggle but, I just try, and I know that God is always there for me. I know it is hard for people to understand when they don't suffer from it like we do. Not every day is where I want it to be, but I believe that God has a plan for us. He will never leave our side as he says in. Hebrews 13:5. We build our faith in God by prayer and studying his word. I would love to pray for you on your journey to righteousness.

I'd love to start a life church here in waukesha, WI. I have a great community support but I have tried many churches in the area and the second I start to share my story and how far I have come with Jesus, I get looked at like I have 50 eyes. Despite the fact that they all say all are welcome. Anyway, God is great and have put some amazing people in my life. But there is a honest lack of believers for sure. I have looked again into several life groups also. Thanks for all you do. It is important for so many kinds of people, even those of us who might keep walking away from the building but they haven't walked away from Jesus.
