I was thinking you should try white base under the pink when you showed them. Then you said you'd try white under blue for Christmas 😅
Fun fact I learned recently: Après is pronounced uh-pray & is French for after. I took Spanish in school & can't afford their products. It wasn't until I stumbled upon a French nail tutorial that I'd ever heard it pronounced correctly.

I wonder if you used white as a base for the pink if it would show up pink as well as being able to see the magnetic underneath. Just a thought. They turned out beautiful as is though.

For a glassier look have you tried skipping the black and going in with the mag gel and putting the jelly on top of that? These looked so cute though!!
