I recently lost my son from an accident and before hand the only time I used to go to the cemetery was a funeral and now 5 months after I've been going there atleast more than 4 times a month I Chatt to him as to me it feels like that's his new home and when I'm feeling very down it helps me to feel closer to him. I've planted beautiful flowers 🌹 and water them, I don't really do anything or any rituals I just pray that his resting in peace and so far it's been giving me a peace of my mind although it hurts so much

Honestly death of a loved one really changes how we view the grave 😭
So sorry 😞 for the loss of your son

I went to my homeland in EC for the first time in 2017 where I saw graves of my ancestors for the first time. I spoke to them and it was a wonderful experience for me, it was as though they were physically there. My great grandmother, my great grandfather and some people of my family whom I never knew were laid to rest there and I spoke with each of them and I kind of knew they heard me. I left that place a new person since I also was a Christian who believed those people are dead and have no part in our lives anymore

Nna I'm a christian i don't usually go to the graves but this past good Friday we went to clean there. We lost our sister last year April so when we got there after cleaning, we did spoke we were having water, snuff, maize meal n mpepho. I don't really have much knowledge about these things we were with our mother, siblings n cousins. We went to our father's grave, grandfather, grandmother and others related to my father's side. There's peace going there ☺️ wether you speak or not by just entering you feel lighter and at peace ❤️🙏

Then I liked you a LOT from then and watched each of your videos about African cultures, traditions, witchraft, spirituality, African spirituality, etc.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🇪🇺🇺🇸💙

Hi Milly, thanks for the good advice. I have just followed you and I see there's a lot to learn from your teachings. I want to ask what is your take on people who bathe or perform cleansing at the graves, is it the right thing to do or is it part of witchcraft? I really don't agree with this.
