I use their Prima Latina curriculum and it’s a great curriculum for learning Christian Latin on one’s own. My daughter actually enjoys learning Latin. Thank you for this review. I think I may get the copybook as I’ve been trying to decide on a penmanship curriculum.

We love copywork! However I DIY it.
I’ll select 3-5 grade-appropriate dictionary words, my child will alphabetize them, & just copy the definitions in her composition notebook.
If I feel the need to challenge my kid, then I’ll have her use 1 (or all) word in a sentence. She has told me that she loves her dictionary copywork

Can I ask a question for when you do question and answers? I keep worrying about the social aspect of homeschooling. I have 6 kids, one is married. This is our 3rd year homeschooling. My worry is their content not having outside friends. Their all each others best friends. Which is what I've always prayed for. But is it bad that they have no desire to make friends outside of family. I'm not sure if it's just their content with each other or just dont want to go to other social gatherings like co ops and other homeschool get to gathers to interact with other kids.

I think some wouldn’t agree with me but I, personally, feel like it’s good to have friends outside of our own family. Many times this is more of a “casual” friendship. We get together with another family and the kids get to know each other. I think it’s SO awesome that your kids want to stick together. But I’m one that thinks it’s important to foster outside relationships. Appropriately of course. I don’t want to just let kids run off and do whatever for hours while the adults visit. I keep a tab on things. But I hope and pray my children grow up to have good, healthy friendships. Hope they can encourage one another in the Lord and have a good time together!

thank you. I will be swinging by their booth at the convention this summer to check this out as well as their penmanship books. What grade was this recommended for? sorry if you mentioned that and I missed it.

Hey! I just signed up for your newsletter and it went to a page with a PO Box. It was in CA. I feel like I remember you mentioning you moved? I’m new here but just thought I’d mention. :)

Thanks for signing up for my newsletter. You are correct that I am no longer in CA. I have not gotten a new PO Box which is why you won't see any newsletters from me for awhile. I can't legally send out a newsletter without a current address. So many things to do!

Did not see a transition to cursive??? Just boom it started? That can't be. Right? We use a Reason for Handwriting. MP looks good tho. Like the spiral binding.

I believe Memoria Press teaches cursive before manuscript so the cursive section of this book would be review and the manuscript is what they are learning.
