This song is inspired by the soundtrack album from the 2000 film 'Requiem for a Dream'. The original song was composed by Clint Mansell.
I first heard this song about 4 years ago during a dance performance, although I didn't find out its title until 2 years ago. I then started playing around with the melody and chords and after 2 years came up with this.
