Can I Collect Workers' Compensation and Long Term Disability Benefits?

    I want to mention I filed a claim with the insurance commission when they denied my disability insurance claim through my employer. I kept getting denials even though workers comp legally denied the claim. Always remember to go to your states insurance commission. Hope that helps

    You know what I don’t like is when a person is injured on the job . The employers insurance totally decides who or when a person gets into short term disability or long term. The only thing one can get approved on is employee medical leave act or fmla based on treating doctors reports . Other than that employers insurance holds almost all the cards on this decision. I know because I was blocked from this status . WC benefits is on hold as well until settlement is made . So one is handcuffed from
    These benefits. The injured employees are at the mercy of the insurance decision status .

    On December 19 of 2022 I cut my hand fingers on a tablesaw and Fort Worth Texas I am totally blind I have no vision whatsoever. And I am going through the process of Worker’s Comp. and as I am doing this my employers is kind of hinting that I am going to be let go I don’t know if they’re trying to round me up I don’t know if they’re trying to what they’re trying to do make me have blow a gasket at work so they can have a reason to fire me but it is a very bad cut laceration butt thank you for this information keep up the good work

    what if we work 2 full time job and got injured at the first job and filed workers comp with the 1st job and the 2nd job we have long term disability?
