Berlin School of Business and Innovation graphic design student, Shahd Mohammed Salaheldin Sedky, gives an insight into life in Hamburg as a creative student in the latest edition of the #MyBSBIStory series.
Having left Egypt to pursue a career in Germany, Shahd explains that the first year studying in Hamburg can be difficult while adjusting to the new way of life and the weather. However, Hamburg has a lot to offer students with ample opportunities to explore the city and visit places via the ferry.
Since studying at BSBI, Shahd explains how the quality of her work has improved after every class and her portfolio is evidence of this. She partly attributes her progression to the exposure to the creative community in Hamburg which has inspired her to showcase her creativity.
From the people and the artwork to the buildings and the galleries, Shahd explains that her experience studying in Hamburg has been totally different to her expectations and after visiting her first exhibition, it opened up a whole new world of artwork which was challenging, inspiring and creative all at the same time.
