This was a great series! The idea of an L3 defence panel is giving me flashbacks to my own thesis defence though, as interesting as judging is, I don't think I'd ever volunteer for that again! xD
I'm a novice when it comes to MTG, I only started playing (commander) during lockdown with some friends over webcam, I have very little interest in competitive magic, BUT.. I've found this series amazing, seeing the process of judges learning and other judges teaching in these scenarios being incredibly interesting, I would love to see more in this series/playlist/styles , keep up the good work :)

What are planeswalker emblems considered? a nonland permanent? no?
What's the process for even becoming a L1? Would love to get into it, no idea how to go about it.
Dave did a video about that about 2 months ago, festuring an interview with s judge academy staff member.

The main thing is finding a L2 judge to sponsor you.
Here's a link to the video where I go over that process with a member of Judge Academy's staff: th-cam.com/video/XYrLJPS6qiU/w-d-xo.html
