KA50 & SU17 & SU25 & MIG27M & Mi28N is probably the best lineup in warthunder for at least half year. Pretty solid and fun to play.

Who even cares about tanks, the tanks in ground battles are just there so you gotta do a bit of something before going to have fun in the planes and bomb other tanks

imo its fucked up that u can get into a chopper directly and then spawn a aircraft after, without even using a tank 1 second

You can also technically spawn an SPAA. But I do agree that all types of AIR should be a reward for doing well on the ground first.
