I have noticed that Assamese people have some kind of problem....instead of speaking their own Assamese language or Hindi they prefer Bengali language....I am not against any language but definately would like to hear some local language too if possible.

Pls ask Rupali to speak in either Assamese or English. This Bengali lang from her mouth is not welcoming ( All the time she is into Bongo lang) I m astonished....why all the family is into Bongo lang.. AND.....MR... Ashish...you should learn Assamese instead of Bengali

What an amazing sense of entitlement you have. It's their choice what they speak between themselves. What is welcoming or not welcoming about it?
But for argument's sake, it makes more practical sense for her to learn Bengali as they both STAY in Kolkata and Mumbai. So she will need Bengali more than he will need to learn Assamese.
Assamese is a beautiful language and I am sure with time Ashish sir will also pick up more of the language, but please don't force people to learn like this.
