Have you thought about moving your bookcase more in the corner facing the room? Angle it a bit nestled in the corner. The sheet music is gorgeous. I’d love to see it more. You had such a great idea.
I agree. Have thought that for some time. The lines of the furniture placement is so linear. That would help soften the space. Perhaps turn the table you just painted the other way. Things at least on tv make the room look crowded.

Since this is my first time seeing your home, the bookshelves look like shutters that you turned into a shelf which I am truly in love with! Oh and the other piece between the sofa and the chair, adore it!!! You have such a great eye for vintage pieces! I think you've inspired me to paint my husband's grandmothers sewing case. The wood is too busy and I know I would use it if I calmed it down. I appreciate the foam roller info, I'm getting ready to help my daughter paint some old furniture for her baby's nursery!.I love toile, so that little pillow is my favorite. They’re so so pretty right now!! I am so excited you posted this because I have a little plant stand and end table I wanted to paint and grabbed a soft green paint but wasn’t sure it would go great with the blues and pinks but yours looks gorgeous!! 🌸🌸🌸

It all is so pretty and I love your touch. I'm going for blue and lavender this Spring, with a gorgeous "Thomas Kincaid" picture. It's a beautiful cottage and a river flowing beside it, with so many trees and flowers blooming with blues and yellow, lavender and Pinks. 💕 I love your vintage look too! 💓

So pretty, I love everything!! The bookcase looks amazing as does the little side table. I'd be lost without my Mod Podge! Another you tuber have me a great idea I bought white faux eggs and a pack of paper napkins with a sweet Spring vintage looking bunny and flowers. I cut out the design from the napkin and mod podged it to the egg and they are just precious sitting on grass in my sweet little vintage basket. Just an FYI. Beautifully decorated again!!! I'm just curious what your price range is for vintage books. If I got vintage books in my area, I'd be paying about $15 per book! I have some that were handed down to me, but wouldn't mind having a few more.

an inexpensive idea for curtains is using target's white rectangular tablecloths they're like $20 and 104 inches long, just use curtain clip rings to hang them, they look beautiful
When we built our home almost 30 years ago, we have a built in desk in our kitchen which I soon grew to hate. Wrong choice. I wish I would’ve used that space for a larger pantry.
Nonetheless, I am now considering removing the cabinet doors from the top cabinets and putting wallpaper on the back to look like open shelving!

SO 💚 your decor. I 💚 the soft greens and blues you have mixed in with your warm whites. For a style with your beautiful sofa, you could pull it forward from the beautiful window for some space for a narrow sofa table and some plants or just to be able to pull your sofa forward for some space between it and your window. Just wanted to share my thoughts. We are having a new home built right now. I’m so excited. We have been missionaries for the past 20 years and have moved 14 times in forty years of marriage and are now living in a 500 square foot house for the past two years. So excited to have more space and get all my furniture (that has been in storage for three years altogether again in our new home. I 💚 you, Miranda and all of your videos are so 💚ly and homey and remind me of a beautiful storybook place. So timeless and inviting is your decor.

I did the same thing years ago with stained cookbook pages on my backsplash in my kitchen and above the cabinets. It’s been on out 15 years and still perfect.
Good use of the sheet music! Do you all still have Ale-8? My family loved it and anytime I visited, I had to bring some back for them. Everything thing looks so fresh and pretty.
Everything looks beautiful. Love the new curtains. I believe if you would pull the rug out and let it fill the room up and it would look not like it cut off. That’s just what I would try. But you have made your home beautiful.

I like the color you painted that piece. Very subtle but adds some color. I loved the coffee table decor until you added the basket. It took away from the other pieces. JMO!

Hi Miranda…he’s a thought/suggestion.
Small lamps add so much to bookcases and the subtle light they bring in seems to complete the look.
You can drill a small hole in the corner of shelf where you would add the lamp in order for the cord to go thru and out the back.
I would suggest the top or second shelf.
The lighting would be such a nice nighttime accent.
I’ve done this on 3 different bookcases and the addition is perfect.
Some pastel eggs or the wooden eggs would look good in the basket on coffee table. Looks very clean and springy. You have three tulip bouquets, maybe change one out to a different flower color?
All lovely. The cabinet looks good with the new paint. You are brave to do it in the living room, even with the drop cloth. I would have probably had to repaint the wall if I did that. All just ties in perfectly.

Great idea on that picture frame love that!! I have my grandmother's picture that has been passed down over the years it's beautiful it's a church and it has rocks in it that are painted with we have Enterprise the pictures that solutely beautiful but the frame is worth more than the but I've never really liked it and I think going around it like you did would be gorgeous that I'm going to ask my husband of course we would never want to ruin the fried it is almost 300 years old!!!!

That frame would be really pretty in that green color you painted the cabinet. It would bring that color onto the other side of the room. It still is pretty the blue color
I have antique hutch similar to yours and it seemed so dark to see things in, they sell these rechargeable flat under cabinet lights on amazon you can stick on the inside to brighten it up, I think the brand is asoko, and you can get remote operated. just in case you are interested, love the makeover!
Hi Miranda, By one more pillow like the ones on the bench and leave only one on the bench. Add one on the sofa and the third on the arm chair. Add a lamp to the side table near the door.
