I so look forward to seeing this documentary. A long time Facebook friend was associated with Studio One in the early years and I've alerted him to this interview. I was especially touched by the talk of the days of the gay bars. I wouldn't trade a year of my 68 years or wish I were any younger in exchange for those memories I have of first walking into a gay bar in my hometown of Rochester, New York. We had some pretty fabulous bars back then, and it became our second home and the community was strong. Memories of wonderful people, so many of whom are long gone. I agree with Mr Saltarelli that it is a tragedy that social media and cell phones have taken the place of actual human interaction. I don't think young gay people today realize just how important the gay bar was to us. Wonderful interview ❤️.
What a great interview with Marc Saltarelli, Harvey! I was there that night in November 2019 for the reunion and it was an epic evening! I look forward to seeing this documentary!
Really great interview! I’ve seen the film and it Is quite powerful. So well done, so insightful about both this exciting and then very tragic time in our history. That so many young men would have lived if our government would have treated the AIDS epidemic as the National crises that is was, is so shameful and heartbreaking.
