Yeah so many are afraid of needles. I work in a hospital and im always gentle with every patient and understanding but the way this lady dealt with her is how i deal with patients who behave in this way, be gentle and calm with them but get it over and done with quickly.

It's truly a fear. My grandson is 13 stands 5'9" 180 lbs and absolutely terrified of needles. The last time he got blood work they had to sedate him because no one could hold him down. It sounds ridiculous, to some, but to actually see it happening is real. I hope she can get over the fear❤
Same with my son he’s so afraid. I’m the same way, I pass out. When they had to draw blood while I was pregnant I passed out in the chair. I told them it would happen too. Now when I get blood drawn I lay down.
That's is how we were brought up in Africa by our lovely mum's, and we are so proud of it. We love seeing them quickly using their hands because we are stubborn generation. Spare the rod and spoil the child.
One thing loving about African mothers: they give you a little slap for the right thing and stand by you to support you go through it. If it were one of these western kids, it would have taken the entire day with words such as "honey, you gonna be fine", "come here, and get some hug"...and the nurse will join in, and they will waste the entire day babysitting the kid. We don't spoil our kids like that in Africa. We make them strong, ready and to face tough times. That's why Africans where ever they are around the world are resilien.
