I like the fact that the Turkish location allowed them to use actual ruins from Classical Antiquity as locations for alien planets. This is actually much more effective than the pastel skies, sound stages and Styrofoam rocks of the actual Star Trek (TOS). If the prints had no deteriorated so badly over the last 50+ years this could actually pass as one of the original Star Trek shows.
It is logical for them to use stolen Greek archeological place because Turkey has no culture, but only destruction and massacres. Turkey is a country that has no history but a criminal record
This is actually very impressive when you think about the whealth (I mean .. there was none) of the country around the time when this movie was made. No money to invest in technology, no active relations with Europe or the U.S. No investment in technology and people couldn't afford to study. But... News about hollywood did reach the people and ofcourse people were curious. I think it was great to let those people who don't speak English watch these American movies in their own language.
yerlestirmisler , o dönemdeki camasir makinalarini, bi saga ceviriyorlar dügmeleri bi sola, kaptan pamuklu moduna ayarladim sense hassaslara ayarla peheheheheheheh
the movie is indeed a trash movie, until tourist omer(main protoganist) gets involved in the course of the story.. he mocks everything on its path throughout the story with a humor unique to him. his impersonation of tourist omer is one of the most significant characters in turkish movie history.
This film is mocking wih the original one.. you should watch the other parts in english to understand what i mean.. A funny guy would join the crew ...
Well at least it's closer to the original than Abrams' version.
For real
And when you finally believe you've seen everything, Turkish Star Trek arrives! XD
This is actually the first ever 'Star Trek' movie - released in 1973, 6 years before The Motion Picture which came out in 1979. mind blown
Still better than Twilight
This is obviously an alternate universe where everyone speaks Turkish instead of English.
WTF? This actually resembles Star Trek faithfully!
This might actually be good. oO
The soundtrack includes an instrumental track from the Pink Floyd song, “Echoes”
I was just going to post that I noticed that when they beamed down!! Floyd in the Turkish Star Trek! Kind of looks like Pompeii.
people are more intellectual and have knowledge 1970s even though there was no internet.
Things like this really make what's happening in Turkey now all the more depressing.

Looks like Turkey didn't sign the International Copyright Protection treaty....
its actually a parody which is permitted under copyright law lol
Pink Floyd's Echoes around 4 minutes in.
With all of the postings of this movie, why isn't at least one with English subtitles????
Gustave Frankfurter why do you need to understand to laugh?
The music while they are on the planet is DEFINITELY Echoes by Pink Floyd.
Yeah that's a Turkish parody of Star Trek and it's hilarious! Sadri Alisik was a great comedy actor, rest in peace Sadri Alisik...
Holy shit!! There's Pink Floyd in there too!
3:30 ışınlanma sahnesi güzelmiş
just when you thought the special effects of the original couldn't get any cheaper and the mini skirts couldn't get any shorter...
Thanks for making me have a very good laugh. REALLY Very funny. :-)
:D
The Turkish captain looks more handsome than captain Kirk..
Yes, Turkish actors very handsome
Mr.Spock has switched from science to command
Loving the use of Pink Floyd Echoes at 3.39..
That green shirt at 3:09. LOL
They beamed down to Ephesus.
My 1 and ONLY criticism...... Spock wore blue not yellow. Other than that it's bang on and way better than STD and the JJ Abrams bullshit
0:47 What an entrance! I guess we won't see this version of Kirk doing a whole lot of womanizing, will we?
I wish ı can add subtitles to this video
RIP Sadri :)
I can see the classified for Spock: Must be able to raise eyebrow.
efsane ya :D
3:20 WOOW! spezial effect!!!
Just shows how well TOS trek was made, this has the same look and feel yet still looks very cheesy
ターボリフトが狭すぎ(≧∀≦*)
The captain is a robot. He can talk without moving his mouth.
@toma419
this movie from 1973 if you are lookin for new one search GORA
@toughguynumberone Yeah, he is liking Spock a lot there
This is actually a comedy movie
The only thing they got right was the miniskirts.

Captain is portrayed by casper van dien
Do they have a replicator on board? ......In case they have a craving for ayran 🥛
No subtitles. T_T
Fan service @ 1:21.
they were eating the salt all the time =) the movie is all about finding the salt =)
Still more authentic than discovery
are movies still redone over there? I would love to see a remake of Fantastic Four. Not the new version, but the Roger Corman version
yerlestirmisler , o dönemdeki camasir makinalarini, bi saga ceviriyorlar dügmeleri bi sola, kaptan pamuklu moduna ayarladim sense hassaslara ayarla peheheheheheheh
9 yıl önce yazmışsınız ama şimdi denk geldim. Çok güldüm yoruma.
Kirk looks like casper van dien
Sadri Alışık
I was liking it until the fuckin Pink Floyd started playing. Now I'm loving it.
Do they still redo movies like this? Would be so cool.
Sadri alışık is dead :(
Işıklar içinde uyu Sadri baba
at 3:39 they're actually using Pink Floyd music lol.
Checkout Uhura @ 1:21.
@TVwriter23 nope only in 20th century :p i mean 70's -80's
i can´t see any diffrence between the original series and this movie
Year; 1973 :)
Oh shit they landed in an Indiana Jones film
Wait does that guy have a mullet?
@jedancovek If I had the money I would be a set like that though updated and make a cool scifi movie.
Wait!
Spock is a Command Officer?
YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING!
the movie is indeed a trash movie, until tourist omer(main protoganist) gets involved in the course of the story.. he mocks everything on its path throughout the story with a humor unique to him. his impersonation of tourist omer is one of the most significant characters in turkish movie history.

STOP.LOOKING.AT.MY.FCKING.CAMERAAAA
This reminds me something but.. im not sure...
Ha s.... Bunu da mı yaptık, vallahi bravo,😂😂😂
Say what you will.
This still beats JJ Abrams version
Who played Spock there?
this is a greek movie
itele itele xD
Bence gurur duymalıyız o dönemlerde böyle bir paradi müthiş bir iş. Yabancılardan Sadri Alışık’ı anlamalarını bekleyemeyiz.
Get me Captain Kirk or his non-union Turkish equivalent!
Turkish Kirk looks alike Chris Pine. :D
The brown shirts get it first.
2:06 LOL

Muahahhaaha
all this Technology and she's using a pen for writing ?
Lol this movie was released 1973 and the first star trek movie 1979
This is not Star Trek, otherwise its bunch of operators in an old school factory.
1:21
1:21 hahaha ^^
This film is mocking wih the original one.. you should watch the other parts in english to understand what i mean..
A funny guy would join the crew ...
1:40 but why
this is star trek parody. this is comedy movie
So is this cannon?
@boorockx if he is the best comedian in Turkey then I would hate to see the rest
I never knew star trek was a rip off of a Turkish TV show
Still a better Spock than Zachary Quinto
This is parody bro
So cheesy it's a delight
Kaptan Spayki.... lol
When you think about it how much tackier could a Turkish version of Star Trek be than the original? (sorry Trekkers)
oh my 1:18
