My 1st reel for lingcod rock cod & salmon. Im now at a dozen reels including the Torium 16 & some far more expensive ones. This 14 is still my go to 9 times out of 10. I think it was only like 160.00.

I did not know the Shimano Torium 14 came with six break blocks. Did you have that put in ??

I’m wondering do these reels use a spool tensioner to help with backlashing? Or are they like a lever drag where it just adjusts the drag pressure?
