Really great to see a group ride with all the participants acting responsibly. Also grateful for the information on the charging stations. As usual lots of good information on batteries and charging from V. Last but not least what a great kid V has, really good to see him having so much fun with his big buddies ;-)
For a Cali boy… this shit was cold 🥶 AF. However amazing food, company, ride and views!!! East coast actually has beautiful seasons! I saw colors on the trees. In Cali everything usually on 🔥 hahaha 😂
Another great video. It's been in the mid-90s here in Texas. Today is the first day in high 70s low 80s. Fortunately, I love riding in cold weather. It doesn't get really cold in Texas. Maybe 1 month of too cold to ride weather. Looks like you guys had a fun day. We will see you next year to ride again. Keep up the great videos. Learn a lot from them. #nowimplayingwithpower #powerfullithiumusa
Diana and Cali. My Man… Thanks for watching and the support… Hoping you are good and just want you to know when you are ready it will be worth the investment… Ride safe hommie… 🙌💯🙌
New helmet Mr E? BTW thanks for stopping by the market, I've been driving past that place for years and wondered about it. I think next time I'll stop by.
Looks like the battis charger. Similar to the roger charger in the euc scene. They make several different variants, with varying voltages and amperage’s. I’m looking at just the 60v charger, capable of pushing 50 amps.
We have new batteries here and they can be safely charged at 90 amps… it would be amazing to get chargers that can push that amperage rather than using 2 that push 45 amps… 🙌💯💪
@ im sorry. You said 90 amps? I need new underwear now. Haha I’m limited by my stock battery as to charging speed, but as soon as Powerful Lithium makes a replacement for the stock Roadrunner Pro battery, I’ll be a 30 amp charge boy for sure!
Great vid! Sorry this is off topic but could you do a video with powerful lithium or someone with regards to preventing or how to handle a flat tire on long trips and group rides? They can be very frustrating
If the bike is equipped with motorcycle grade tires like some of these it can be challenging… depending on the kind of flat we may just deflate the tire to extract the area on the inner tube that’s punctured and try to patch it… maybe a plug or maybe that slime just to hold it til we can get it to a shop… we have been fortunate on our rides thus far but I am always mindful of it should it happen… I want it recorded and shared so rest assured it’s always on the back burner… Maybe we can just create the scenario in shop… thanks for watching and the suggestion…
I'm just going to say the bike lain is the fastest way to end up with a flat tire for any ebike And that's me saying that living in West Palm. And I've got dirt like tires.
@@mr.e_from_nyc lol Seems like I got bad luck. because it's happened to me. two times now. but also I think my tire is a little warrant, so it's less resistant to be bs on the road.
It’s just that the last time we went there we were good to go.. but there were only 2 of us lol 😆… they must all be on the same breaker and the 4 of us killed it 🤦♂️
I have 2 60 v batteries one is 25ah other is 20.. I whatbto put them in serious to make 120v 45ah ... What motor and controller will be recommended for the much volts..
Question for V or others, I am currently upgrading my 2024 Freedom from the previous 72 volts to 96 volts, using a 96450 FD controller and a 96V 40Ah pack. This is using the stock Hentach motor to keep the rear wheel weight down and just to be different. So far in testing the motor has run nice and cool on 96 volts as it also did when I first upgraded from 60 to 72. Anyhow my question is on running a higher voltage vs running a lower voltage with field weakening.... it is my assumption that by running 96v to achieve 45-55+ mph speed without needing to employ field weakening that the range at this speed be better than it would be running 72 and employing a lot of field weakening. Curious if anyone has actually done or read about any A vs B real world comparisons? PS I know the bike (suspension, brakes etc.) is not designed for those speeds and I will not be riding on the road at 55 mph daily looking for a place to die ;-) Its just that I am 6.1 and like to pedal (bike has a 55/11 top gear) for exercise and regularly ride a 25 mile loop on a 6 lane road where the cars travel 35-45 mph so being able to cruise in the right lane at 35-38 while pedaling keeps the cars/police from getting angry.
That’s a big jump from 60 volts… I’m not familiar with the Freedom.. Can you tell me what controller it came with stock… Why not put a bigger motor on here…? Sounds to me like a larger strain will be placed on this motor now… Also be careful at those higher speeds without reinforcing the frame and/or upgrading shocks forks and brakes… I will screen shot this and send it to V to see if I can get you a more technical reply on field weakening…
Thanks so much for the support… Come through anytime… I post all the group rides o attend to my Instagram and Facebook stories… my username is @mr.e_from_NYC
Sorry to break it to V but I have the same exact charger 😭😭 50-102v at 45A 66-93v at 50A The most I charged was at 18A! It’s def a heavy charger, not ideal to take it on long rides :(
Why dont ebike manufacturers ever use watt hour to say how big your battery is? 20ah is different depending on voltage. 1800 wh is 1800 wh no need to do any math.
Not one of those bikes qualifies as a class three and cannot be ridden in bike lanes or even on the street without registration and plating. Thanks, numb nuts for ruining it for everybody.

One thing I must say e-bikes that you can pedal are so nice in the winter normally when I’m cold I pedal and start sweating in under 5 mins lol
lol 😝 I hear ya…. The Spark CycleWorks BANDIT was perfect for that… it provided resistance when pedaling unlike other manufacturers… 🙌💯💪
