I like it, found it pretty addictive once i knew what i was doing! Could be a good entry way to the multiplayer as well, for those who haven't tried it yet.
I played this game for hours and cant win anything despite years of experience in Gwent. Advice yould be appreciated. I have absolutely no Idea what to do. Some enemies just feel absolutely undefeatable. And the worst thing is: Its a different one in every run.
@@AfxsLP I must admit, i haven't beaten that dragon yet but have come real close and I think it's just a matter of time. You need to get to know your deck and familarise with the cards you're likely to get from chests and events, make sure to ditch some bronze units, plan out what power up stones are the best. And a bit of luck. I don't find reaching the dragon that difficult, but the optional elite boss on the journey can be hard to beat. But that helps give that extra edge for the dragon. And you need to not neglect to cast your spells, especially on tougher fights.
@@AfxsLP focus on combo with anything that has ability that trigger anytime something happens ( like damage enemy every time this card gain bonus+ deploy bonus). Use spell to kill and prevent enemies that have abilities that trigger anytime something happens to prevent snowballing.
I played this game first having never heard of throne breaker . I enjoyed it and then I decided to get throne breaker , which blew me away compared to this.
throne breaker is a amazing game - beware on PS5 there is a game breaking bug I encountered in the beginning of the Dwarf/Snow area - (it could have been fixed by now, that was about 5 months ago - works great on XSX and PS4.
Yea I'm confused how they can call Rogue Mage... Gwent... it's not Gwent anymore if you change the rules to basically be Hearthstone instead lol. (No longer 3 rounds, no longer about winning 2 rounds, no longer 3 rows, Hero abilities and Spells to use that subtract from the gameplay + deckbuilding, it's weird)
This took me by surprise last week, it already had a lot of bad reviews so I ignored it. But looks decent, not with more than $10, but could get a few fun runs out of it I am sure.
@@AstridCeleste96 I'm guessing it's mostly multiplayer gwent gamers who have gone full meta when crafting out their decks. I'm guessing they don't like being stuck to a preset army, and the battle being set to one leg/round so their typical tried and tested tactics may not work here. And they find it really annoying. But for more casual gwent players and newcomers, i think this is a cool game, well worth the price.
@@exysa2798 3 years ago if you said that you will be lynched. But the truth is, CDPR only being bad at Cyberpunk recently. Back in 2018 when Throbreaker was released it wasn't.
Depends what you liked about Thronebreaker? If it is mainly the story then probably not. If you want just generally more of a singleplayer card game experience then yes.
What i want to know is if it rewards things in gwent for achievements in game like you could do in thronebreaker. I liked thronebreaker and the setting of rogue mage sounds interesting. I didn’t really like the walking around in thronebreaker but i loved the puzzles. Even when the puzzle was just having nickers the dog collect soup and wine from a cave. But also a rogue game sounds kinda icky.
spoiler alert: It's 1/10 and not recommended. not even worth watching...I was sure I'd playanything fromThronebreaker games but this was the worst possible variation on that game in all the alternative universes!
Lol this is not a RPG game or even a game at all. It amazes me that anyone would waste time advertising garbage like this or any turn-based garbage. Takes a certain type of nerd to be interested in turn-based and I wish the dumb devs would quit wasting their time making garbage like that.

Almost everyone hates it. And its by CDPR. So its trash
Bad reviews? Where? It's a great game lol

Ok, let's say I loved Thronebreaker: should I get this?

I'm gonna get it but it doesn't sound like it's gonna be like throne breaker outside the actual "combat"

First! First dislike 424/1 now, I am so proud! My life is complete now.
0 marketing, shitty player base from Gwent, and they want to make a single player expansion... what the fuck m8? Focus on your core multiplayer game
CDPR will go bankrupt soon anyways because almost everyone refunded Cyberpunk. CDPR doesn't have any money. They lost so much.
@@exysa2798 Cyberpunk and Witcher games are still selling well. They lost nothing and keep earning more.
Nah they need more single player games like throne breaker and release it on consoles
