You just RUCHED!!! Congratulations! With all the love and respect in the world, you are sometimes a little messy. It has been so freeing for me--a perfectionist. I am loosening up, thanks to you. I am starting to go forth and try a few new things, not worrying about the outcome. Ruching, rumpling, talking paint brushes--I don't know; but it has freed me up! Barbara in Texas 🌱🌺🪴🌷🌿
I have yet to begin my first junk journal. I keep watching and rewatching your videos and collecting things. Yesterday I bought books at the flee market filled with wonderful pictures to cut out and even found a book for stamp collecting that had an envelope filled with stamps someone had good intentions for!!
Just start! I did the same as you and when I eventually started I didn't use half of the stuff I collected because as time goes by you collect even more things that inspire you in that moment. I ended up with a bunch of things I was inspired by before but I wasn't feeling that same vibe or theme anymore.
Hi Pam, the sewing machine guy reminded me of getting my vacuum cleaner serviced many years ago. I was accused of sucking up dust! Apparently it's not for that!? Point is it's your sewing machine and you can use it for whatever satisfies your heart. I have a collection of sewing machines (6) and only one works atm. I've got to get them serviced so I can sew to my hearts delight! Love the index cards! Enjoy the sunshine, we have our fire burning 24/7 atm. I'm in Australia.
Pam you've created a crazy women in me. I've never thought about junk journals and stumbled across your posts. Last night I sat with my bin of scrap paper and made paper click fundals or what ever you call them :) I've collected a big bundle of old postcards and photos and am about to create my 2nd journal. Love your videos thank you for allowing me to use junk in my home to make fabulous journals. SO fun, and I can do it anytime anywhere I just take a bag of scraps an old book and a glue stick :) or and a stamp pad I found in a box of stuff in the shed :)
I don't have index cards, but a cereal box with a line stamp, works just as well! 😉 Thank you, Pam for the inspiration They work great as flat fillers, in journals and there's extra writing space! a win/win! You were ruching!! 😃 Hello to Holly, such a happy bird 🦜 love from sunny, muggy Denmark ☀️🌸🌱
As usual I throughly enjoy watching you..while laughing the whole time...you have the gift of gab..that's for sure..thanks for sharing your ideas. And time...
I'm glad that I am not the only one who talks to paper and scissors but at least you have an excuse making a video. Love watching you while i'm crafting over here in England.
"You can make things with different combinations of things you already have". Oh yeah, huh? 🤔 Sometimes I forget that. 🤦 It's fun to get new stuff but a mighty fine idea to dig out some older supplies - including makeup 💄 or maybe crayons🖍️ - and bring them back to life! Good to be reminded. 😁 Happy weekend everybody! 🕺💃 From the Southern California desert, MK 🏜️🌞😎
Years ago I worked with children, and for a project I took index cards, folded in half, decorated with stickers, crayins/markers, etc. and took them to veterans hospitals/nursing homes for tray favors. Pam, I like these ideas, too.
You are so much fun to watch...AND, to listen to....never lose your sense of humor...it's just to adorable...I laughed when you said, ""it keeps me off the streets"😅😅 Love your little secretary, Sunny, there..."precious"
Always good to get new ideas for index cards. And who cares what it's called...a ruffle by any other name is still sweet. 😁 Hi Holly. Good to have you back crafting with us. 🙂 TFS Hope you have a great day. ❤
Hi Pam. Watched a very depressingly eye opening video this morning. You have totally cheered me up! I absolutely love your spontaneous childlike designs. Perfection can be so boring. Thank you so much for reminding me that there is Joy in the world when we open ourselves up to the possibilities!
It's so nice to hang out with others who like papers, texture, and the looks & the feel of paper. I always thought it was a weird addiction, so I was sort of a closet paper hoarder!
Great ideas! I have 400 regular index cards in white and bright colors plus 150 or so larger 4x6 cards. These ideas will be great to start using them up!
Love these ideas, need to use up some index cards too. Greetings from lake havasu AZ Only going to be 120 today! But that’s ok going to stay inside and craft.
I got my bundle of papers and spent the next hour reading stuff to my son LOL We had so much fun! I was busy crafting yesterday and my fingers started picking up stuff and I was muttering "where are my baby wipes!" LOL And of course I though of you! ;) I have a nosy kitten, so when I finish working I have to clean my crafting area and put stuff away because she steal stuff!! Love your videos Pam and ideas, keep up the good work!
i just love this idea..... a lined place to journal and tuck these in spots. and btw, i love that you listen to the CAG and the rest of the fids in your aviary while you craft. i craft with a macaw in my studio . :)
Hi 👋🏻 Pam, been missing you because I can’t get on my treadmill in the morning for awhile & I need to catch up with you because i is your entertainment!😁 You’re so much fun!🥰
Hi Pam!!🌸🐝😎🦋🌻 I get such a kick out of your sense of humor! I especially love it when you take a sewing machine in to have it cleaned, pay for a service and get a lecture from the technician, like he’s doing surgery, and you need to stop gluing, use the right thread, and anything and everything else that you are doing wrong!!! Lol…did you have a hard time to keep a straight face, and want to say,”are you kidding me?” LO lol!!!🤪😱😂🤣😆😅
You always amaze me with the plethora of tips and tricks that you know....thank you for sharing! My dog Archie always tells your Holly good morning...he "chirps" with her :)

@@rubielou23 yes, I know what you mean. Do you put the journal together or decorate the pages first...who knows, perhaps both!
Great ideas Pam
