- This is a friendly sparring I recorded yesterday on Dragon Ball Z Budokai 4 (v0.5.8) versus one of our Beta Testers, @Scorpeo1707, who was P2.

The "DBZ Budokai 4" mod Project is a fan-made modification of the original "DBZ Infinite World" on PS2, running on PCSX2 emulator.
It features new gameplay, fixed fatigue system, new Comeback System, new costumes, new characters, new stages, new transformations, new capsules, new moves, new move pools, new inputs, new Specials, new RTFs, removed "Aura Burning" and many other Quality-of-Life changes.
This Project was born from the collaboration between NIM and Dr. Doppietta, with the participation of other modders like SamuelDoesStuff, MetalFrieza3000, Gibz and ASTR47 / Trevon1344.

It still amazes me how you all made Super 17 from a nearly unplayable mess in IW to an actual fun character to use.
He's also pretty accessible to players of all skill levels, which just shows how well thought out his moveset was.
Goku GT was another pleasant surprise for me: from what I could see from the beta testers, he's now pretty unique while still retaining what makes him a "Goku" in his core gameplay. His modified Super Dragon Fist was also a pretty creative addition.

Super 17 was so broken in IW that's not even funny. Still i rather play him over Budokai 3 Kibitoshin

Yes, I feel like we made an incredible work with barely playable characters like him and Piccolo, who were basically trash in IW vanilla.

Completely forgot about this stage. How many stages will you cook in final? :0 Do you plan new stages, not seen before? Still can't get over the fact how cool head grab super suits 17.
B4 v0.6 will have 4 B2 stages, when released.
We hope to be able to port B1 Kami's Palace and Cell's arena as well, some day.

Notice the ring out is off. Don't know if part of the mod or not. I used to hate the ring out it used to end fights too early. I used to purposely let the opponent come away from edge of the ring to avoid this. Pain in the arse it was lol
We decided to remove it on this particular alt stage. ;)
@@Dr._Doppietta LOL heck yeah, I never liked playing much in these world tournament maps in the budokai and Tenkaichi games because of those ring outs.

@@Sbeppo99 NIM l'ha fatto anche l'anno scorso, è tornato verso dicembre.
E, in ogni caso, ho un paio di persone che stanno lavorando parallelamente, nella speranza di trovare chi possa portare avanti il progetto in sua (temporanea) assenza.
Has the netplay for PCSX2 improved at all? I would love to play online but i remember having difficulty with netplay and parsec isnt the best alternative. These matches were fun to watch. Havent play as Super 17 yet but will soon
We found out that Parsec is great if you both have a strong internet connection (+100MB/s in download), while for slower lines (down to 5MB/s) there's a duo program: Moonlight+Sunshine.
They work like a charm, you should def try 'em out.
You can also jump on Discord and look for matches there. ;)
I'm just finding out about this project and I have a question, can Goku and Vegeta fuse mid battle but permanently stay in their fused State? I used to hate how fast the fusion wore off, but i love the idea of fusion mid battle. Sorry if my question was hard to understand
Your question is very clear, don't worry! ;)
Unfortunately, in order to make all fusions permanent, we had to modify their capsules. If we wanted to allow fusion mid-battle, we'd have to undo the all previous work. We can't have both.

Good thing mods for Infinite World exists for build on Budokai 4 unlike that Burst Limit trash game that was released on PS3 as the next Budokai

Di emulatori per telefono non me ne intendo, io gioco solo da PC con un programma che si chiama PCSX2. Un altro emulatore che so funzionare per certo, su cellulare, è "AethersX2", ma non avendolo mai usato non saprei aiutarti.
In ogni caso, entrambi i progetti hanno dei file dettagliati con le spiegazioni, delle Wiki apposite e persino forum dedicati. Sono certo troverai qualcuno capace di aiutarti lì. ;)
@@Dr._Doppietta dannazione peccato! Perche dopo aver visto dei tuoi video mi hai fatto venire desiderio di riprovare budokai 3! Infatti sono riuscito ad emulare il tutto senza problemi sul cellulare solo che mi manca un tassello come ciliegina sulla torta: i trucchi😈😂
Non avendolo mai giocato con cheat volevo chiederti appunto questo se sapessi almeno come "applicarli" o selezionarli visto che sicuramente te ne intenderai piu di me a livello tecnologico🤣
Attualmente ho aetherx2 e ho scaricato dei cheat(credo tutti) però non mi esce alcun tipo di tabella con ogni trucco attivabile disattivabile, il tuo programma come funziona? Magari è proprio simile per questo ho pensato di chiedere a te ovvero il maestro💪
I trucchi puoi attivarli con dei file specifici sull'emulatore (file .pnach ad esempio in PCSX2), oppure con un programma esterno, come Cheat Engine.
Credo la seconda opzione sia off limits per te da cellulare, devi vedere come funzionano per AetherSX2, perché io non ne ho idea. lol
